  9. Good friend of mine who works at Lexus shop as a main Mechanic requested me NEVER to buy lexus with EMS. That's all i have to say. It's complicated. what about other websites?
  10. I think you system is working correctly. In Summer, auto with a/c on, car start cold air to match setting point.(Blower set speed depend on car temp) Winter time hot air can'nt start till coolant gets hot. that is the reason ac light and auto light shows on, but nothing blow. once coolant temp increase, blower start step by step to meet set point. Hot air dry your eyes and face for safety reason its blow by floor. If i remember right, @77 F start upper and bottom together. Hope i did expain correctly.
  11. Good advise amf1932. Sure, VVT-i valve makes little more noise then regular 1MZFE. My previous 97 car had 362K without touching valves and were very quiet. vs 2000 VVT-i is little noisy with 130K. Hope that helps.
  12. what happens to fan when you turn a/c on? I never heard air pocket and temp sensor relation, I did lots of time flush and fill in my toyota's , never happens to me and yes you will gona have air pocket. that is the reason you needs to keep eye on resorvisor bottle for couple days. I could be wrong. to me its looks electrical problem. please update us.
  13. I have 2000 and I did replaced in 10 minits. make sure use lexus bulb otherwise you will have taillight sign on dashboard. Hope that helps. Turn 1/4 turn philips screw anti clock pull center peice along with clip.

  16. I did replace in my 97 ES300 for $35 from Orailly. Part# was EGR500 Here is the location which has electrical connector.
  17. EGR is nothing but pipe. open , clean and install with new gasket. Make sure when you clean both side, dust (Carbon) should fall outside. you needs to change upper part of EGR. which has electrical connection. mine was 97 ES300. I had same error code and i end up spending only $35 Orailly selling for $35 if i remember EGR500 is part no. please confirm with them your car model and year. Hope that helps.
