  1. First replace Cat and see what happen, I replaced both O2 sensors sametime. same part no. Bank 1 & 2. I have 97 and it's very tricky which cat you put. my case guy bought from orailly (Brand start with W...)and no problems so far.
  2. that's correct i have 97 with 330,000 with all original equipments except PS pump which i had replaced at 130,000 with aftermarket.
  3. Every 5,000 oil change Castrol Syn. Blend 5W30 Every 15,000 PCV and Air filter first 15,000 trans. oil drain and fill next 15,000 trans filter drain and fill (By Mechanic) That's it. it's just run and run. Sure i do timing belt and WP and all belts, seal @90,000 And Shell Gasoline............ Hope that helps.
  4. I have 97 with 330,000 still running likes new. what was the last time you replaced PCV?
  5. you can get toyota sensor for ~$110. Bank 1 and Bank 2 are same part# Between Radiator and engine (Front)= Bank 2 sensor 1 By firewall= Bank 1 Sensor 1 After Cat =Bank 1 Sensor 2 , That's third Please correct me if i am wrong. When I had CEL, My mechanic told me to replaced both. Hope that helps.
  6. Did you replaced only one at firsttime? most time , you shall replace bank 1 and bank 2 at same time. Hope that helps.
  7. that's too much. buy after market arm ~ $180-190 and ~$80 to installed. + $50 for allignment Hope that helps.

  12. I replace with Walker brand, which my mechanic bought from Oreally, total install cost was $245. System is very picky, make sure person puts right cat.
  13. I used Castrol Systhetic Blend 5W30. I am keeping interval six month or 5,000. most time i reach milage first within 1-1/2 month to 2 months. I used toyota filter. I don't have any gelling problem. cas has 325,000 Hope that helps.

  15. after replacing sensor by dealer, you mentioned they got CEL again, did they check error code? same?
  16. that is the reason you have dipstick, don't go by book, with right level of car and temp.& car running idle for while check the level and shall be on top mark "hot" Hope that helps.
  17. That's too much. I have the best mechanic in houston area. he did TB, WP all other belts, CS Seal, Cam seal, Valve cover F/B Thermostate, Spark plug total labor was ~$600. Hope that helps.
  18. I did replaced my with local mechanic. He bought from Oreailly, made by walker total install cost was $244. installed@ 289,000 presently i have 319,300 miles on it. hope that helps.
