  2. some time in houston toyota runs special $199 for 4 cylinder $299 for V6. that's how they get you. all they do timing belt. then they add hours and parts for Water pump seals outer belts.. etc..etc.. Hope that helps.

  4. I keep my tire pressure at 35 psi on Michelin tires. when i reach 50,000 on tire, it's time to change. It's your choice, you can keep between 27-35 psi Thanks,
  5. I have 306,800 still runs great. burns 1 qts. between oil change @ 5,000. I drive high speed & long distance. Make sure you do change TB on time.(90K) Hope that helps.

I am going to change the following: Please let me know what you think and add/subtract if needed. 1. TB 2. Crank shaft Seal 3. Cam Seals 4. Water pump 5. Thottle body clean (Change Gasket) 6.   7. 90,000 miles you should replaced. I don't wait all the way. You gonna spent money any way now or later. why take chance. your call.
  8. My 97 ES300 did samething @131,000 . I bought from Autozone rebuilt. Mechanic installed, total cost was $300. Today miles of car is 306,650 with same PSP. I wouldn't spent $800 with Stealer. find honest local shop. Hope that helps.
  9. I like Amsoil 0w-20 (with Lc20) since my engine loves it. I had used there 5w-30 which ran okay but the other is better. I would go 10,000 miles and test. Then do 3 more tests at 10,000 miles and then you have a baseline. Then you got it. if you don't mind, please explain. Thanks,
  10. I am back and have one more question. Before that, let me tell you the study. in my car i used 5W30 Castrol synthetic blend. I do change every 5,000 with toyota filter. car has 305,600 miles. after 3000 miles i loose 1/2 qts oil and i have to add another 1/2qts @4000. somebody mentioned to me to go with 10W40. I know car has lots of milage. there is anything i can do to stop burning oil. will synthetic oil solve this problem please guide me.

  13. i did following service @ ~286,000 Timing Belt Water heater hoses. Tensioner Idler pulley baring Drive belts. Intake Gasket Water Pump Spark plug Wire Cam Seals Crank shaft seal thermostat Coolant Fuel filter Valve cover gaskets Parts cost me ~$400 and My mechanic charge me $700. Hope that helps.   15. just print this picture and fax it (this will be dealer item) or just tell them it's comming out from front valve cover and goes to air intake hose= breather hose? is this a test? LOL

  18. I have 97 ES300, and '97 calls for Dexron-III. it's doesnot matter which brand you use.
  19. it's in front . under manifold. drain plug is always under the car.............................
  20. if it's not overheating, i wouldn't worry. No light bill. if you set a/c on auto, your a/c runs all the time with heater and fan gets on with A/C + temp increase in coolant make them run faster to cool off engine. ever flush coolant and clean themowell ?
