  1. French apple is my favorite. I heard new 2016 Honda Accord with have both Appleplay and the Google-equivalent.

    I'm Sick!

Sorry to hear about that, sad.
  3. American drivers are mostly unskilled, not that licensing here tests for a reasonable skill level.
  4. Low key car people gathering / car show kind of event. Probably one near your area (Google to find).
  5. The new 911's are unbelievable, wow. Here's a GT3 at Cars and Caffeine SJ last Sunday, (street legal).
  6. Yep, just like CA, I live in hills at 600 feet with pano views of coastal mountains riddled with lovely forested pine and redwood-lined twisties, most protected from development of any sort. Therefore I never own a sports sedan larger than "compact". I drive those toads with moonroof open usually, F sport exhaust barking, feeling the power, handling and fresh air. Sports car country as they say, 2 hours of twisties will put you at Pacific Ocean. And I get to skip the oppressive speed traps thankfully (those were mostly legislated out decades ago in CA, for reasons mentioned).
  7. Thanks for the warning. Sad. I will avoid driving anywhere on east coast, including from Virginia Beach to Baltimore, can't be bothered.
  8. Jay - It's been a couple of weeks, how did the estimate to repair look?
  9. ^ Good luck switching to Mercedes and expecting better warranty service. Not happening, I have over 15 years of experience with Mercedes cars and found the warranty service to be no better than Lexus. Both Lexus and Mercedes have some excellent vehicle offerings, that's why I have one of each.
  10. Feeling the breeze now?...
  11. Sorry to hear about the hit to your GS350. Yes, it looks like a repair cost of several thousand dollars. Keep us posted...
  12. 2005 IS300, that model year might be a concern. I think the warranty enhancement for this problem covers 2nd gen Lexus IS's starting with model year 2006.
  13. Denny - That's terrible to hear about the service (or lack of) that you received at your VA Lexus dealership, not acceptable. The Lexus dealership that I use in northern CA gives service that's second to none. Maybe having BMW, Mercedes and Porsche dealerships a few doors down doesn't hurt, because they are on top of their games too.
  14. The beer(s) softened the financial pain at least.
  15. Wow, so what did he hate about the Maxima (besides the $15K lost in depreciation, taxes and fees that is) ?
  16. Most likely the torque steer problems of the past have been fixed on new Maximas Anybody own (or owned) a fairly recent one? I never owned a Nissan product, only driven a few.
  17. I'll take a look. Past versions have been bloated and overstyled.
  18. Wow, the seat coolers in my Lexus IS350 are plenty drafty, I can actually hear them working.
  19. Bumping this up so that I do not forget what Memorial Day 2015 stands for, including honoring all that served our country.
  20. My custom tire/wheel shop that I use regularly matches major online vendor pricing for tires. The experience and expertise is very high level so I always use them for tires/wheels/suspension/alignment needs. So Phil, what's the news/update please?
  21. Keep us posted Woodbadger. Let us know your MPG numbers after some break-in miles done. Enjoy!
  22. Assuming all 4 tires are same brand/model. Why wasn't a 4 wheel alignment done? (not just a front wheel alignment as stated above).
  23. Woodbadger - What tint do you have on the new ES? Looks great btw.
  24. Ask the seller to show you history of the car, such as via a CARFAX report or something similar.
