  1. pretty much all that is true. The only problem is they can't special order if that car is in production. So if they are building it. then you will just have to hope they get one.
  2. xm has to be ordered from the factory. Most dealers choose not to. After that its dealer installed and more expensive due to labor.
  3. they have been to know to warranty 2 tires when you pay for 2
  4. if its on the nav the dealer may have just programmed a reminder. Do you also get Happy Birthday's ?
  5. very well put. There is a reason there is no front wheel drive cars in Nascar. If you can afford and can live with the differences in interior room the GS is a more rewarding car.
  6. I think on the ES you have to swap out the whole glove box for the cd w/ another car. It was still an option back then.
  7. Its a little heard for me to follow w/ the kilometers. What I see happening alot w/ carfax ALOTis when a dealer services the car and it had 89,000 miles. When it comes time for the tech or service advisor to input the info into the computer they will in most cases work from memory. So 89,000 becomes 98,000 easily. Compare the carfax and service history and if it seems that it is only one time where the miles were reported wrong and it looks like a logical mistake. It may be.
  8. once a car is titled the value drop significantly. Trade in value is about $3-5k behind dealer invoice. Once its titled the dealers only option is to retail it , he cannot lease it. That drops his market by upwards to 75% Then deduct the % of customers that are too weary that it is a new car returned so quickly. That doesnt leave much of a market.
  9. No and no. Very few changes to the GX. There working on 2 new SUV's a smaller RX to compete w/ the X3 and more of a cross over { wagon/truck} close to the GX and possibly replace the GX in the next few years.
  10. on the actual navigation screen hit the Route button, and then hit the delete destination button. The buttons are grey because they can't be depressed while moving.
  11. Yes this is an old e-old mail and most of them are not true.
  12. http://www.palmone.com/us/support/download...date/index.html This is the patch you need to download
  13. only if it has the Mark Levinson audio, which on an ES would be the Ultra Lux pkg.
  14. correct. cars are ship with over 40 pounds of pressure to keep them from getting damaged on the ships. Possible the dealer did not let enough air out.
  15. height control sensor{s} are bad. See your dealer
  16. the must service you as per the convenant. If your car is going to be kept for more then 8hrs for service they must supply a loaner. Secondly the service dept doesn't care where you bought the car. They want your service business.
  17. How many miles on the car? Seems about $3k to cheap to be a new car
  18. adaptability for the customers that prefer using the casette feature to connect the ipod or portable satellite units.
  19. Yes, but at least BMW's have iPod integration...and no useless cassette... ipod integration kit - $400 . or use the cassette to integrate it for $30. replacing cheap uninspired BMW dashboard - about 10x that
  20. the GS has one of the more technology advanced dashes of all cars. Plus the info screen / or navigation option. Definitely blows away anything in a BMW
  21. The Mark levinson option is not available, and the 2007 production is over.
