    Both my Lexus' do the same thing. I think it has something to do with the built in sun sheild tint in the windows.

    They guy i bought the car from had a 12 changer in the trunk, but took it with him and put the OEM back in the car. No cd cartridge came with it, but i just bought a CRW1342-B so, it has never worked for me. I should probably check to see if everything is connected. How do i take the head unit out to check to see if everything is plugged in?

    The glove box 6 disk changer has power. The changer cartridge does not come out by pressing the eject button and the head unit does not communicate with the changer. Is something not connected even though the darn thing has power? Am i putting the wrong cartridge in? please help.

    My check engine light is on now. Darn evap codes. I have pretty much replaced everything that could cause the problem...at the same time overlooking the "hard to fill gas tank" problem. Someone mentioned the vent lines could be blocked. i hope this ends up being the problem, cause my piggy bank is empty.

    they cam with the car from a provate party. Non lexus brakes i guess, then they glaze over and squekky squeek. I just have to fork out some cash and replace the new brakes with new brakes. I took the car to the dealer, and they lubed up the pullies. no more squeek. Now all i have left is that darn check engine light.

    anyone have the part number for the cd changer cartridge for a 2001 GS 300. 6 disk- i know it is OEM, but nothing says mark lev on it or Nagamachi whatever.

    2001 GS 300. Sqealing noise from the engine.. Sounds like it is from the belt or pullies. Only hear the noise when the engine is started after resting for the night. Noise lasts for a good 10-15 minutes of driving. With the sqealing from the breaks, the squealing from the engine, and the rattling from the sunroof, i am so embaressed. how can i get rid of these darn noises? please help.

    I live in Orange County. Same problem. I end up not sticking the nozzle all the way in...that seems to work.

    My 2001 GS has the same problem. It has been in the shop 3 times over the last two weeks. Same Evap code problem. My mechanic did a smoke check to see if there is a leak anywhere, no leak. He changed some valve in the gas tank , but an evap code keepd tripping the check engine light. And yes, i put the cap on the tank tightly. Anyone have any clue as to what the problem could be?

    After searching for the darn thing...i realized the air temp sensor is missing. What? How much do they cost to replace?

    I was also told to remove the fuse that controls that unit and replace it. Anyone know where to find that fuse?
