  2. thanks Steve. :)
  3. agreed. no need to buy a new starter. it's the solenoid contacts. $15 from toyota for a new kit. this link tells how to do it. http://www.off-road.com/toyota/tech/starter/index.html
  4. ;) the 98-05 GS is 5sp auto only. 98-00 GS400 has e-shift 01-05 GS300 has e-shift
  5. you mean GS350 ;)
  6. actually you can remove the tensioner pulley from the tensioner and clean it out and put a drop or two of oil along the edges of the seal. you can also get the bearing pressed out and a new one put in. here's the backside of pulley/bearing. you can see that the bearing can be presseed out and replaced.
  7. thanks. the car has about a 1 inch drop on Tein CS coilovers. the wheels are oem 2006 GS430 (18x8 +45) wheels. the tires are 245/40-18 Pireli Pzero Nero.
  8. it may not be the belt...read post #3 http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195858
  9. do you want more go or more show? :) here's my 18s.........
  10. so arcade is gone for good, isn't it? :cries:
  11. once you have the starter in your hand, you can replace the solenoid contacts with oem kit for about $15 and the starter will work perfectly again.
  12. I have 2nd gen with oem HID with auto level. there is a reference point the leveler can be set to. one sensor on front and one on rear. the rear is the only one they have to adjust I believe.
  13. yes, it can be adjusted. I had to have the dealer adjust mine after the car was lowered. huge difference.
  14. go to club lexus and search leatherseats.com
  15. thanks
  16. so is the arcade really still coming back or what
  17. how are they fixing it? I thought they usually just replace the long block on something like that?
  18. modulator is what I meant to say. my 95 es has the same cel right now. I'm scared to buy a new egr and then it may be the modulator, as mentioned. I don't have a vacum tester, any other way to check it.
  19. couldn't it be the egr actuator?
  20. sorry to hear about your incident. on the bright side, you can use your insurance money to buy a 98+ GS :)
  21. got a link? I checked your Merry x-mas thread and didn't see 94 camry. I could use the egr section and the brakes section. :whistles:
  22. WHERE'S PACMAN! please :)
  23. could be your rear end(diff). my 01 GS430 had the rear end replaced via warranty at 23k miles because it made a humming, bass type sound when you let off the gas around 60mph.
  24. if you're not already convinced... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=12649&hl=2004
