billydpowell
a lady pulled into my wife, changing lanes, claim has been filed, probably needs a fender
Exhaustgases
Wow had me worried. Glad its just the car. Insurance is not a good thing around older cars, they can total a perfectly nice car for very little damage.
CELSI0R
I hope your wife is doing okay. Looks like you're going to need a new fender, and potentially a fender molding. I can see your door was also bent, but it's nothing that a body shop can't handle.
Exhaustgases
Do a paintless dent repair, good ones can work miracles. Or part it out and get another one. Yeah just pop that fender out and color sand the tire rubber off and its like it never happened.

sha4000
It does look like a PDR guy can massage that out.

Exhaustgases
I can't tell since some photos didn't come through, did you get the big dent out of the fender? It really doesn't look too bad. On lower generations that lower section is a plastic panel, is it that on your years?

Wanting to race? Not likely since that LS is faster than most cars. Not happy to see the hit but at least the paint wasn't damaged. Yeah, I think a good PDR person could square that right up.. billydpowell
UPDATE look at the photos, I used Lexus touch up paint, and I CAN live with the dent and keep the $1912 in the bank Paint was $6.
Exhaustgases
I could get that dent out easy. Any plastic inners would need to come out. You could do it Billy. You need one of those air bags that can be pumped up, it would pop it right out. Easy stuff.
Exhaustgases
This should do it Billy
VBdenny
Ahh Biily you say you can live with it but can you really? That would bother me. Forget the insurance just have it repaired. Then, I'd take the keys from your wife. Many people who "got hit" add the "got" part. My mom did and I've done it myself.
billydpowell
BOB, that did it... thanks..
Exhaustgases
Just the hot water or the toilet plunger? Good deal, now ya don't have to look at that dent, just like new again, I'm glad it worked for ya Billy.
billydpowell
me too Bob, God is good and I am blessed.. just one little kink at the end of the dent, you have to look for it to see it.
Exhaustgases
Nice that the insurance company paid you to fix it too, hmmm lets see if it wasn't for me......???? Na just kidding. I'm just happy you made the effort and got it done.
