2006 Rx330 - Window Controls From Driver Side Not Working

Recommended Posts

Hi All. Awhile back I did get my battery replaced and I did reset my windows so they could be used from the driver side panel. As of now, I can roll down all of them from the driver side except for the passenger side rear (window diagonal from driver). The window does roll down from the door itself so the window isn't broken. The light on the window switch is not blinking either. And yes, I did make sure the window lock was not on.

Could the switch be bad? Should the battery be disconnected and reconnected??

UPDATE: I noticed that the light on the passenger rear window switch is just off. Not blinking or anything. But the light on the driver window switch panel is on, not blinking either.

Ideally, you would measure the presence or absence of 12 volts at the window when you activate the driver's switch. While you're at it you could verify that the wire connector(s) are securely plugged together.

I had the same problem. This is what worked for me, I tried resetting the rear windows by pushing the switch down all the way to roll the window down, then I pulled the windows' switch to bring the window all the way up and held the power switch in the upper for about 3 seconds. That's what worked for me.

If that does not work you should try disconnecting the battery for about 10 seconds and start all over.
