Exhaust Tips

Hi LOC members! I'm a newbie here, just signed up today. I do have a question, I have a '99 gs400 with a factory exhaust tips on it but I really just wanna replace just the tips with a nice after market brands to make it looks nicer. is it possible just to replace the tips but not the whole exhaust system? Any advices or links to that topic forum are greatly appreciated.

Those factory tips are friction fit, They just pull/twist off...Just go to your local Autozone or ebay or whatever and find a set you like...

I have Magnaflow 35158 Stainless Steel Rolled Oval Angle tips that I bought from Amazon.com. Had the local muffler shop tack weld them on for me. They look great and really fill the rear valance much better than the factory tips.

They are a little expensive but they are top shelf items and they look great.

Just buys some tips and have it welded on...that's what I did. The tips I got looked exactly like L-Tuned tips.
