It's the amp, 15 years is a pretty good run for a LS amp. Have it tested and if you need one let me know.

Here's the schematic diagram for the 1990 LS400.....look in the site and you may find the info you need for your 95.

where is the amp located?

On 1995 models it should be under one of the front seats (passenger on RHD models so may be passenger on LHD models)

i believe i have the same problem with my '04 rx330. so you think its the amp? and do you have one? its the mark levinson(L 86280-0E020) system.
