I think if you want the job to come out perfect ... better find a guru in this field that has a passion for his craft. that is what I would do .... I would want my leather looking perfect ... you know?
jcrome04
It's actual leather to re-upholster the seats right? Not just covers?

pfleyva
are these easy to install yourself or should i get it done professionally? I bought leather seats from this same place with the intention of doing the job myself. After receiving the seats I opted to have them professionally installed. It cost me $500.00 but was worth every penny. The pros spent 12 hours replacing the foam and installing the new leather seats. Porbably woud have taken me twice as long. i would have never been so patient and would have screwed the job up. It came out beautiful. Also, the guys who installed them said that the quality of the seats I purchased was better than the replacement leather seat covers sold at the Lexus Dealer. Good Luch
AcidFire52
You can do it yourself, just find a guide online, can really be any car, and take it slow. Not sure hard, just tricky. If you are unsure, I would have it professionally done.

Good Luch Hi pfleyva, Where did you take them? I am assuming you are in OC? My leather is decent, just want to find someone to redo my foam. amcdonal86
Anybody have any idea how much it costs to have all the leather reupholstered (labor only)? I have a feeling it could be over $1000.
jcrome04
I don't think it'd be cheap.. but not too much.. a real pro should be able to re-skin a seat in no time.
djspawn00
I installed a few seat covers from leatherseats.com and although its very time consuming it's not hard at all... the only thing I have not done is replaced foam.. I'd leave that to the pros.

pfleyva
Hi Jeff: I went to Bill's auto upolstery in Fullereton on Lambert rd about 1 mile west of Harbor. The shop isn't much to look at but they do good work.
pfleyva
u know that the seat covers from them are only leather in the middle, the rest is vinyl Python It depends upon what you buy. My seats were a dark purple color and they only came as all leather, and I had to pay more.
