Can't Send Messages

Hello, I'm trying to send a message to a different user, but I'm not able to. This is the error I am getting:

The error returned was:

You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board.

Please help. I have PM's enabled in my user settings.

You need more positive contributing posts in order to PM.

dcfish is right. You have to be a contributing member before you can PM and post in certian forums. Or you could become a Gold member, in which you would get all the privilages of the site.
