B) Is the sound from inside the car? Or is it at the pads ?
eatingupblacktop Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 Applying the brakes while driving slowly in reverse for 40 feet or so for a few times might reset the pads. This of course means driving with both feet on the pedals which can be a bit confusing, so a lot of care is required. Best place would be an empty mall parking lot on a sunday morning. If you have any doubts about being able to do this safely, then don't.
eatingupblacktop Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 How far down does your pedal go? Have you checked your brake fluid level?
