2000 Ls400 Headlight Adjustment

I have the newer style headlights and even on dim people always think they are on high. I am thinking they are aimed a little high. Does anyone know how to adjust them? Thanks for any help folks. Robert

There are two vertical adjustment bolts on the back of each HID headlight housing. They stick out pretty far on my 00 LS and are hard to miss.

Both bolts are towards the bottom of the housing - one in the middle of the housing and the other at the inboard side.

I would see if it is only one side that is giving you the problem or both. If one the above fix works to align them on a wall. If both are high adjust the arm on the right rear lower control arm behind the wheel up and down to get both in the right spots.

I think I got it fixed.... I tried to eyeball it on my garage wall but really couldnt see much difference but folks are not bright lighting me now. :)
