wwest
Hey guys,we all got a lexus eh? so from 1 to 10 what would you give your car. experience, troubles, think about every factor. and if you could do it all over would you still get what you got now? thanks. Due to the FLAWED, horribly UNSAFE climate control design and utterly UNSAFE and therefore USELESS TC my '92 LS400 gets an 8. I guess since my '01 AWD RX300 shares the same problems plus FWD torque biasing it must get a 6. I'm current waiting for the RX series to get the DFI engine and the Atkinson Cycle. VVT-i....Small I for "small" intelligence. A truly "intelligent" Variable Valve Train would use the Atkinson cycle to extend FE up to 20% except for at or near WOT acceleration. Tyler121
well my 1994 ES300 which in my opinion looks, drives, and rides better than my brothers 1999 Honda Accord EX V6, I would have to give it an 8.5...I love this car, even though it is 13 years old. raymsixsix
I had an 01 GS300, I loved that car, I give it an 8. I now have a 95 LS400 I love it and give it an 8 as well. Its amazing, although the GS was 6 yrs newer than the LS, the LS feels much more substantial and quiet. I suppose it makes sense, they're different models with different prices, and the LS is an embodiment of the best of Lexus. I couldn't pick a favorite though, it would be like choosing between two of one's children ;)

Shayan
i made the topic, but its hard for me to answer lol i dont know to rate the car or to just not. its been a nightmare for me. money after money and still got a car that needs so much more. its sad really either it wasent made good, as far as i read 92 was a bad year for the es. over heating problems, a/c problems...... id have to rate my lexus experice a 4. its horrible here in shreveport/ bossier. you can never get anyone to answer the phone in service or parts department. the car well i'd have to give it a 5. this is what i learned about lexus. their nice when new and are a dream car, but after they reach a certain miles you better get rid of it quick, cuz its one thing after another. computers, sensors,...........thats jsut the beginning. but again the car i had was probley never treated right anyway so who knows
