I HAD MY BAG STOLEN, AND INSIDE WAS MY MASTER KEY FOR MY LEXUS RX 300.

I BOUGHT THE CAR USED SO I DIDN'T GET A VALET KEY. CALLED DEALERSHIP THEY WERE CHARGING

$172 FOR A MASTER KEY AND $104 TO REPROGRAM IT. TOTAL $ 276!!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW A CHEAPER WAY TO GO ABOUT THIS.

I just bought a 2003 RX300 from an auto broker. He only gave me a master key and a security key. I called my local Lexus dealership here in Los Angeles, California and they told me a master key is $287 and a valet key is $95.

So if you find it a lot cheaper, let me know.

I went onto the website of keyntob.com and left my info. John called me back and said the key with remote is $99. Just all I have to do is have an automotive locksmith cut the key and I have to program it with my other master key.

For Lexus key problems, I recomend contacting Tami at http://www.toy-lex.com. They are very good. They helped me out when I only had a valet key, and a dealer wanted me to pay a lot of money for a new ECM!!!

I recently had the driver side lock replaced and received a new set of keys for that lock only. Does anyone know how to code the original keys to the new lock? I cannot use the originals to unlock the doors manually.
