I have been getting this noise that sounds like an electronic motor turning from behind the gauges/dials in the dashboard (driver's side). The dealership confirms that the noise exists but was told that it is normal. They said it was the ABS resetting. It is hard for me to believe that it is normal especially because I've never heard this noise on any other car that has ABS and because this is a LEXUS. I doubt this noise is heard on the ES, LS, GS, etc. In fact I am 100% sure on the ES because that's the car that was given to me as a loaner.
Wondering if anyone is aware of this and how it can be fixed. I'm thinking that it is not an easy repair and that it is costly (dealer telling me that it's normal). Hoping to get some insight.
