i would like to ask everyone for a moment of prayer for Jim Moran who died today Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at the age of 88.

For those of you who dont know who Jim Moran was, Mr. Moran built an automobile empire that today ranks as the 18th largest privately held company by Forbes magazine with annual revenues of more than $11 billion.

He was also the owner of the largest Lexus Dealership in North America, JM Lexus of Margate.

i personally did not, but i have a few friends that work at the JM Lexus and have met with him.

I personaly was at that Dealership a few month's ago. It is awesome and HUGE. I remember when he first opened and It was an average size. Your right, It is the largest and for sure the nicest Lexus Dealership in NA if not the world. He will be sorely missed.

He had a lot to do with starting the circulation of Toyota vehicles in the south too...

Your right Steve, He had the whole Southeast...I still remember his mansion in Lighthouse Point on the beach front with the intracoastal on the west side.
