Programmable Door Locks For 1997?

I just bought my 97 ES300. Is there a way to program the door locks to lock automatically at startup, x miles per hour or gear engagement etc? OF course I would want it to unlock when the engine is turned off.

I have had this feature on all other alarmed cars but it may have been a function of the alarm engagement. Can the factory alarm be set to do something similar?

there is a whole variety of combinaitons that can be programmed by the dealer based on the users preferences for the 02.

I would not think the 97 is that much different.

Contact you dealer or find someone that has the 97 Lexus shop manual.

Yep, I want the lock/unlock option to be re-programmed on my 98 as well ...

personally i dont think they can do it on them years because its a different alarm for the 02.Nothings in possible though!

So is there an expert out there who has a shop manual that can tell me for sure if it can be done or how to do it? I have programmed a new remote that required a series of locking and unlocking the door and had hoped there would be a similar way to program the auto lock.
