chaolong
Hi This is my first post here. My driver side back window can not be up and down. After checking, there is a small plastic part of window regulator that hold the wire is broken. The mech. tell me I have to replace the window regulator. Is it ture?? Because the whole set of window regulator will cost me more than $500... Is there any other way to repair it ??? Thanks a lot! Chris
SKperformance
welcome to the club i think you might be able to find a used regualtor in a wrecker also i think it may be a camry regualtor as well but not sure try fixing the wire first as it is cheaper
ryanprun
I had the same problem. I just have it so it is tight and don't use it. So let me know if you can get it fixed easy. Thanks
bbsal
what exact part of the regulartor is broke?do you mean the wire is disconnected because of a plastic peice that holds it in?if so try some plastic weld or epoxy to bond it back into the conector.if that dont help then try what skperformance said and also look around on some internet junk yard sites and see if they have it.dont go to the dealer for it because it will cost you a fortune!
