tachy Posted September 26, 2005 Share Posted September 26, 2005 Is there any way to program the side mirrors, so they do not tilt down when you put the car into reverse? Since most of my parking is not street parking, I find myself having to bend over or tilt my head down to see behind me (as well as using the camera rather than the mirrors). blue06gs Posted September 30, 2005 Share Posted September 30, 2005 if you open up the compartment where those switches are hidden to adjust the side mirrors, you can deselect the mirror light. right now there should be one light on either the Left or Right side....whichever side is lit just hit that button again to deselect the light so neither light is lit. this should prevent the mirrors from adjusting down when u go in reverse. I am glad I asked. It seems that with both lights off, it works the way I want. If I want them to tilt down, all I do is hit the one that I want to tilt, while I am in reverse.
