She parked the car and the traction light started blinking and the car wouldn't start after that. Can someone tell me what the problem may be? SKperformance Posted September 8, 2005 Share Posted September 8, 2005 depends on what the smell is ,it could be anything from the belt being burnt off..... Need the code checked to know for sure. Crank = Turning over Run = Engine fires up What does it sound like when you try to start it? Lastly, scan the car & find out what the trac is on for.
