ok well i was in the garage looking for a tire pressure measuring thing 4 my scooter (this is my son btw) and i pulled the handbrake in my dads GX for the fun of it..when i put it back down it seemed a lil higher....now for the more serious problem...then when i was in my moms es i pushed the brakes because it looked cool when the brake lights were on and now the brakes are really stiff...HELP i need a solution ASAP..please is everything gonna be ok? my parents will kill me...thanks again for your help...

when you press the brake down over and over again while the car is off, it WILL get "tough" this is perfectly OK. Don't worry, when the car is started up, it will be fine...

It's just that by pusing the brake, you pushed fluid into the line..and it has built up so much that the pressure going up the brake line is equal to the pressure you're applying to the brake....it will be perfectly fine when the car is started up again. ;)

And for the hand brake on the GX, as long as you put it back down as far as your arm could push it, i'm sure it's ok too <_<

be careful LOL :P

Consider yourself lucky that you know so much about cars. it's a nice thing to know about when you get older and need to buy yourself your own car <_<

I wish i knew that much about cars when i was young....i wouldn't have ended up in the crapmobile i had for my first car LOL

what do you think you'll have for ur first car? I bet you CAN'T wait!!

2 more years you have to wait :P

My youngest daughter Ali is 15 and i already have her car set up for her, only because a good deal came up on the car she wanted. Here and RI she wont be able to drive on her own until she's 16 and a half!!!! IDK what the law is where you are though...

Ali's favorite car is and has always been the rx300. The one in the photo... My aunt in 2001 got the same thing and now my daughter needed it..oh well LOL

What she doesn't know is that i was planning on getting her something new when she turned 16...but she couldn't wait ;) anyway it saved me money!! LOL

I was planning on maybe spending around 32k for a new stripped ES or something....The cost was about the same and i'd rather she be in an RX since it's an SUV and is safer etc. she takes it for granted though

I think if you are nice to your parents they might reconsider LOL :whistles: you never know!!
