fyounes
skperformance, the code on the key is: FCC ID:HYQ1512A I BOUGHT ON EBAY. ALTHOUGH THE ORIGINAL MASTER KEY HAS THE SAME FCC ID.
fyounes
bbsal, What do you think????
bbsal
thats not the right remote for your car.the fcc# should be HYQWDT-B not the 1512.the 1512 is just a remote and the one you need has the button on the side of the key and the model number is HYQWDT-B.thats why its not working for you.check on ebay and you can find the right one. sush1a
actually the procedure is made to resync your key with the alarm brainnot add a new one as from the manual " open the drivers side door, others closed using the door lock control switch perform " lock , unlock " operation 10 times within 30 seconds keep each state for about 1 second less than 2 seconds after performing the above continue to press the transmitter switch for 10 seconds does nothing if it locks 2 time the codes do not match the rom and ecu 3 times transmitter fault hi, I tried that procedure, after doing it, the door locked and unlocked once, and thats all, what does that mean? Thanks.
SKperformance
once should mean it works fine are you having problems ? to fyounes sorry i have to many threads to check to replay to all but has the remotes ever worked on your car? i might ponder to say there is a problem with the set and your only option is the dealer and get a new ecu chip and 2 keys to match f you wan t it to work sorry there is no short cut as the double lock tells you it sees the remote but since it does not match what is inside the ecu it will not respond to it

elazar
Hello, I have a '94 ES300 which I got without a remote or a remote key. The key that I use is just a regular key. I know the car has an alarm though(set it off a couple of times, and it has the volume control for it next to the mirror control). I was wondering how I would go about getting a remote for the car. Would an aftermarket remote from Autozone work, or do I have to get a Lexus OEM remote? If someone could enlighten me on this, it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Elazar
crazyhorse425
hey ppl, i just got a 96 es300, and bought this remote key from lexus-parts.com, fcc id hyqwdt-b. however, i was unable to program the key by following bbsal's procedure. after the steps, i heard beep (door locked), and beep beep (door open) twice instead of just one "beep". i tried pressed buttom simutenusly, still not working. holding the buttom, obviously not working. wut should i do when i get to the beeping part since its more than one beep?
