my 92 lights up green around the keyhole when door handle is pulled, it also turns on the interior light if its set on door. I normally have it off though.

i couldn't find the key code on the glove compartment, only found a 5 digit number and mcard said it isn't the code. so no way of ordering it... and I don't have the manuals or cards that came with the card... :(

sk, is the code on the sticker that saids about tires, but all the way down a 5 digit code? Thanks.

i did have a key, but its stripped... thats why i need to get a new key..

just to get this clear, this isn't for the door lock, but for the tire bolt that has the special shape key to unlock it.. about how much will it cost do u think? Will any tire center have that bolt to unlock my tires when I buy new tires or something? Thanks again for your help SK Btw, I hooked up my amp and sub today, couldn't find a remote wire and 12v wire from the antenna, so i just tap a wire to the ignition fuse to the amp and 12v wire directly from the battery. I heard much about not tapping into the fuse box, but this is for the remote wire, any suggestions?

where is the fuse for the defogger located at? in front of the driver side theres 2 fuse box, i couldn't find 1 that saids defogger.. sux having no manual.... btw are these the manuals i need to get? http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetail.asp?...ubCategoryID=26 The picture shows some other, but the description saids for 92 es300s... volume 1 and 2... how many volumes should there be? and is 115 for the 2 books a good price or can i get it on ebay for cheaper?

the battery was changed a year something ago, didn't work so didn't bother messing with it.... havn't use it since... checked with multimeter still has 3.2v out of 3vs I'm thinking my defogger didn't have contact with any of the grill, coz when i turn it on in the winter, theres no lines thats defogged

thanks Lex!! u answered all my questions... BUT darnit I wasted my money on the wire kit!! (busted so open and messy don't think i can get a refund now :P) didn't know i coulda just connect power wire from the antenna (thought the antenna only turns on for a while then it turns it self off when running cd)... was going to run the 8g wire from the battery.. (will that still be a good thing to do?) then run the remote wire from the antenna. I am looking to buy the repair/service manuals (posted wtb in the forum) and dunno if those CD versions on ebay are anygood.. (anybody have experience with those?) as for my system, nothing special, only adding a sub to it..

after reading the faq, i found out that the antenna is part of the defogger grill.... I tried the key way up close and it work. I guess it wouldnt' work at least a couple feet away is because my defogger in the back is broken.. could that be the problem as why my keyless remote doesn't work far away? because its broken and the radio signal thats transferred all over the grilled isn't there?

oh god.... are you sure? i mean just to cut open the 12v power cable to the stock amp then attach a wire to it to run to the new amp? so the 12v cable will be going to the stock and the new amp...

i'm not replacing the stock amp, just adding a new amp for subs in the trunk. I guess I can tap the remote wire to the stock amp, but if i can only find a way to take the passenger seat out......

well after it locked then unlocked, what else do i need to do? i tried locking the door and close it then use the key remote to open the door, but it doesn't respond.

a 12volt wire that prolly comes with all new radios now, when you power on the stereo, it'll supply the 12v power to that line normally connects to an AMP so when the power is on the amp will be on, and when the power is off, the amp will turn off
