Cpo, What Is It Worth

I was wondering if you are looking at two identicle vehicles, mileage, options, color, etc are exactly the same, but one is a CPO and the other is not. How much more would you pay for the CPO vehicle

Your looking at anywhere from 2 to 8 percent of the original used-car price for that certification sticker strongly b/c of the following:

1. Warranty

2. Inspection process

3. Ability to return the car within a certain time frame

I personally believe its worth the money. Use your research as a tool for negotiation.

local dealer told me $3k or so, but in my opinion, this model/brand is so dependable i don't think it's necessary. on bmw, my alternate choice, i would not buy w/o.

Parts for these cars are SO expensive, I'd only buy one CPO.

I almost bought a 99 LS - CPO two years ago...

Here was the bottom line......

Dealer wanted $25,500 plus my car in trade.......

I bought a similar 99LS (but had 15k more miles) on my own for $23k....then I sold my car for $8k.......that makes $15,000 for my own deal.......

I think I did better than CPO!!!
