SeLf_SoaReR Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 while trying to get out of my car today the inside door handle just snaped off. i know its just plastic but still, i barely pulled it. anyway how much do you think it is for a new one and can i fix it myself? thanks
SKperformance Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 if you have some basic kjnowledge and tools you can change it yourself. not usre on the price for an SC but i replaced one on an 91 accord for 25 from the dealer new.
Renderhaus Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 Likewise to SelF_SoaReR, it should'nt be too hard to do. I did it on my 91 Integra. But I got my replacement part from a scrap yard for $10 or so. It was hard enough finding a G2 (second generation) Teg in a scrap yard, so I'd probably not waste my time looking for an SC to scrounge parts from. Short of a deep internet search, get ready to fork over some pocket change to the dealer.
SKperformance Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 it is about $40 ,buy a new one for that price.
SeLf_SoaReR Posted November 19, 2004 Author Posted November 19, 2004 alright thanks for all the help guys, it just scared the *BLEEP* out of me when i did it
Lex3486 Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 The same thing happened to me. Plus, my outside passenger door handle doesn't work, AND my driver side window switch doesn't work right. Sorta embarrasing when your friends wanna ride in your nice Lexus and the door handle doesn't even work

Sorta embarrasing when your friends wanna ride in your nice Lexus and the door handle doesn't even work ← I am a new member here, just bought my car today (95 SC400). My P-side door opens from the inside, but not from the outside? ANYONE know the possibilities here of what the problem is, and if it is fixable w/o dealer help?!?!? thanks in advance for replies
