CLightning
HI! I have a 1993 Lexus SC300 and I was just wondering if it is normal for the fog lights to illuminate only when I use the signal lights (this happens only when headlights are on). I find this very strange. hmmmmmmm
lovlex
you don't have fog lights, they are cornering lights. i think the fog light started on the
Mungrin
But some people wire them to look like foglights. My friend did that so his cornering lights are on when is headlights are on.I think they look better that way.Wish i knew how to do it. A better option would be to install aftermarket fog lamps in the vehicle or buy the fog lamps for the 96+ and install them. An upgrade of the vehicle wiring may be required for the additional current draw of fog lamps versus cornering lamps.
SC4Million
the 96+ Fogs wont fit without modification on the pre-96 bumper.
