darrick Posted August 30, 2004 Share Posted August 30, 2004 I locked my keys in the trunk of my( new to me) 92 LS 400 I got the door open but now thw alarm is going off and I cant pop my trunk cause the car has went into" lockdown mode" can anyone tell me what to do? steviej Posted August 31, 2004 Share Posted August 31, 2004 is there a passage way through the back seat? if so, reach in with a coat hanger or something to hook the keys. My trunk has an emergency release lever inside, maybe the 92 is too old for that innovation. dumb statement to follow but here goes......I take it you don't have a second set of key (master, valet or wallet) anywhere? steviej Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

VBdenny Posted August 31, 2004 Share Posted August 31, 2004 Try disconnecting the battery and letting it reset. Then reconnect it and pop the trunk with the inside trunk release.
