ocd Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 Does anyone know if the MKIV front seats will simply bolt into the SC300? Any info or link will be appreciated. Thanks all!
ocd Posted July 7, 2004 Author Posted July 7, 2004 Does anyone know if the wiring for the driverside position controls will simply just connect? The passenger side has no controls on a supra. Oh yea, it's gonna suck to lose the heated seat. Unless I can transfer the heating element.......possible?
bean_8044 Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 If you do transfer the heat element you may find yourself on fire one day.
ocd Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 My !Removed! on fire would surely suck. How 'bout those electrical connections though. Will they plug up with out mods? thanks all!
bean_8044 Posted July 8, 2004 Posted July 8, 2004 Im pretty sure that the supras didnt come with the seat warmers. i could be wrong, but im pretty sure they didnt. You could do a custom add-in, but i really wouldnt recommend it with stock supra seats
ocd Posted July 8, 2004 Author Posted July 8, 2004 I can get away w/o heated seats, my concern is the wiring for the position controls.
alexR Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 are the colors of the leather exaclty the same? do a lot of the toyota and lexus leather colors match perfect?
ocd Posted July 12, 2004 Author Posted July 12, 2004 The colors seem close enough that you can only notice if you really try. Anyone know if the electrical connector for the position control motors are the same?
Bubbles Posted July 12, 2004 Posted July 12, 2004 The supra drivers seat only has slide forward/back and recline up/down. I believe there's only two or four wires that you'll need. They should be blue and white on both the male and female connectors. You'll have to get a small screwdriver to get the male pins out in order to connect it to the female connector, otherwise you'll have to cut the wires.
ocd Posted July 12, 2004 Author Posted July 12, 2004 O.K. Bubbles, you are a wealth of SC300/Supra information. Thank you again. You must own a lot of supra parts or a supra.
