  2. I see the tray and jack/tools under the rear cargo floor, just wondering if anyone has taken the trouble to pull everything out and see how difficult it is to remove the spare. And yes, I'm just being lazy at this point.
  3. My TX 350 is approaching 5K after a little over four months. We're getting 20.3 on about 80% city driving.
  4. I put tan in mine to lighten the floor area. I think they look good.
  5. Did you contact the parts department person at the dealership? Or try one or more Lexus OEM parts sites, such as: https://parts.lexus.com/ https://lexuspartsnow.com https://lexusoeparts.com
  6. I'm not sure if this description is perfectly accurate, but it may be worth a try/look:
  7. Me neither. It's hard to understand his popularity.
  8. Hi, Is anyone else having this issue? My car only has 30k miles and is making this noise again, took it to dealer and they had both the trailing arms replaced under warranty, the noise went away temporarily, now it’s back but not as loud. It only happens vehicle is driven trough potholes or bumps. I have the F sport trim.
  9. I recently bought a super clean 2005, and they fully disclosed the antenna was broken, as in the motor runs but the antenna remains in the fully extended position. I've thought about a modern black replacement (shorty) but kind of want to stay original. Most SC430's I've been around exhibit the same problem. Great car.
  10. Thank you for your response! I do understand that it is possible, but not likely that both bulbs could burn out simultaneously. However , my main focus is on the relay. But, I honestly have done a lot of research to identify the low beam relay, but I cannot find any information on how to find it
  11. You should try one or more of these online sites: https://parts.lexus.com/ https://lexus.oempartsonline.com/ Genuine OEM Lexus Parts and Accessories Online - Lexus Parts Now
  12. Perhaps it is related to the seatbelt connection or door that is not fully closed, although I would think that either of these would result in an illuminated symbol. I would check the seat belt and door switch.

  14. I have the same problem now with my sc430. All bottoms operate but the mode switch will not change the direction of airflow. It is stuck blowing on the window. Nothing changes when I send it to the floor or in my face.
  15. I have the same thing on my 2015 Lexus Sport has only 88,000 miles--and was previously repaired by dealer 4 yrs ago for the same thing when car was under Certified Warranty. I have recently read it's a flaw that Lexus thought was fixed in 2010--but all are not holding to that. I' not happy as I've totally maintained and cared for the auto!! Let me know if anyone has a good ideas. I don't know whether to trade as is or repair and keep awhile. But what happens when people see 2 timing chain repairs on carfax?? I have 1 estimate at $4000--but it's more of a "mom and pop" shop. Not sure how many Lexus they repair.

  17. I’m going to try all suggestions and will reply. I appreciate your efforts. Frustrated in The Ville!
  18. Great. Patience/persistence is the key!
  19. We're looking to buy a used GX 460 but want the brake hold feature. If it's available, could you tell us what years and trim packages it is on? Thanks!
  20. Yes, after replacing the battery in your 2016 Lexus RX350, you will need to perform a reset to ensure all systems are functioning optimally. Here are the steps to reset your Lexus after replacing the battery: Turn Off the Ignition and Disconnect the Negative Terminal: Before you start, make sure the ignition is turned off. Then, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery1. Wait for 15 Minutes: Allow the vehicle’s systems to reset by waiting for about 15 minutes. Reconnect the Negative Terminal and Turn On the Ignition: After waiting, reconnect the negative terminal and turn on the ignition1. Reset Specific Functions: Follow the on-screen prompts to reset specific functions. This includes resetting the clock and date settings, power windows and sunroof, and the audio and navigation systems. Test the Functionality of Your Lexus After Resetting: After you’ve completed the reset, test the functionality of your Lexus to ensure everything is working properly. Please note that each window has to be reset individually. To do this, start the vehicle and roll each window down and hold for second. Also, all your radio presets will be lost and you will have to re-enter all. If you experience any issues with the functionality of your Lexus after resetting, troubleshooting options are available for common issues during the resetting process. A comprehensive test drive helps identify and address any remaining issues.
  21. Traction control can come in handy under the following conditions: Heavy Rain, Snow, or Icy Conditions: Traction control is essential in situations such as heavy rain, snow, or icy roads, significantly improving safety. It helps prevent your car from losing traction, hydroplaning, or potentially crashing. Navigating Curves in Adverse Weather or Making Sharp Turns on Unstable Surfaces: It proves particularly valuable when navigating curves in adverse weather or making sharp turns on unstable surfaces. Driving on Slippery or Uneven Roads: Traction control should be on for most driving conditions, especially slippery or uneven roads. Sometimes a no-start (no crank) conditions indicates that the starter is failing. If the odometer is broken, how can you know for certain how many miles have been driven?
  22. What year is your RX 350? By the way, I've found that Apple is seldom "state of the art". They still do not have an intelligent stylus. and their photo abilities are almost always a year behind that of Samsung. Perhaps it's good that Toyota/Lexus does not imitate Apple.😏
  23. Probably going to take some HEAT for saying this, but it's the truth: I've gone thru two dash cams very quickly and finally gave up the notion that electronics operated above the dashboard will last very long. Computer chips/components generate a lot of heat due to higher clock speeds. Add to that temperatures near 150 F in direct sunlight, and you have a situation where components age quicker than they would sitting on your stereo/TV shelf. A good practice is to keep a bright reflective dash or windshield cover in use after parking outside. And always park facing the car away from the sun. That also reduces the heat build up on your seats and seat-backs which in turn reduces wear on the seat fabric. Just whistling past the junk yard.
  24. The LS500 exhaust system has two GPF (gasoline particulate filters). These cars seem to have a propensity for emitting white exhaust smoke in cold weather. Could this be due to the gasoline particulate filters that Lexus uses on the 3.4 twin turbo V6?

  26. Any thoughts on why 23LJ01 (2nd Key Fob program) is not listed as a service campaign on the status/health tabs of the Lexus app? I have reported to the NHTSA as I see this as a safety/security issue. The digital key is very glitchy and could leave one stranded. Lost phone or dead phone battery or dead spot could also leave one locked out and stranded. Lexus should have, at the least, provided a lower tech card key as a backup.
