Very true. My friend's mom's 06 E350 had the whole Nav screen and controls replaced, and now it's starting to screw up again!

Doesn't the system sometimes adjust to the current conditions, depending on weight and how low the ground is, and other stuffs? Mine adjusts at certain times at stoplights and other occasions. Merged these two topics so it'll be easier to find it in the future anyways the topic is almost related to each other.

what kind of parts? try lextasy.com but i dont quite remember if there are any LX/LC parts.

Wait hold on a sec, so is the extra seats for kids or for the in-laws, or what? You just mentioned "The family's growing" but didn't specify HOW it's growing. Now if it's for the in-laws, I don't think you really need the extra seats all the time, which leaves you with many other choices. But if it is a must to carry around 6-8 seats, then go with either the LC or Sequoia. Now you mentioned RX, 4Runner, and Highlander? RX doesn't have a third seat, and as you may know, the 3rd seats in the 4Runner and Highlander are a joke(even in the GX). IF you want comfortable 3rd seats, go with a Suburban. Now if you don't want American, and have extra $$$, shoot for the GL450 (trust me, they're the most comfortable 3rd seats you would ever sit in!).

To spice things up here in a problem-free discussion, tell us what color GX you own and why you chose it. I've added the yrs of the colors to make it easier. Sometimes the dealers tell us a different color name than what it really is. ;) I'll start: Sand Dollar Pearl w/Charcoal Interior It was the first one I could get my hands on, and the charcoal grew on me because you can easily hide the dirt and grease on areas that you commonly touch. :)

I'm not a tech also, but it seems like it MAY be a tire issue. Tires do make a lot of difference and the type of asphalt or cement you're driving on. I would highly suggest taking it to a different dealership if ur dealer wouldn't fix it as you are entitled to a fix for this problem. Good luck ;)

It should not. If you've read about like 5 or 6 pages ago (or maybe more, not sure what page it's on) the issue was SUPPOSIDLY fixed for the 06s. Some early 06 built units still had it, but now I presume the later 06 productions (which means, the 07 GX470s) shouldn't have it. But you never know when a unit or two might have it. It's a better risk now than it was back years ago. Chances of the clunk is less. ;) Besides, if you buy an 07, you have plenty of time to get it fixed as this problem doesn't usually appear DAY ONE that you drive it.

No it's ok. I was just sayin, that people tend to just sidetrack topics in threads, and it's perfectly ok as long as everyone's in peace and harmony and there's no fighting or hate. ;) I sidetrack too a lot on other threads. :whistles:
