Yes.And let me say Im glad theyre done because they are a pain.Sounds about the same at idle and at WOT it has a slighty tougher note.(Very slight hardly noticable)As far as performance its hard telling since I did a PI TC,valve body,and 3:76 lsd at the same time.Now if I can just find time to install my 125hp zex kit!!!Let me know if I can be of help.

What kind of dealer is that?If the dealer did it than they should be more than willing to fix it.Lexus prides itself on its service.Have you spoken to a manager or customer satisfaction rep?If they broke it have them fix it!

Who did the service?Maybe they should be tracking this down for you.Unless of course you did it.

Its been about 2yrs. since I changed my contacts and my starter hasnt missed a lick.If you do replace it dont use the Bosch.Just a personal preference but I have never had a Bosch part work as it should.And as for the warranty thats only on the parts not labor so if that bosch fails yeah your part is covered but not the labor.Good Luck. Here is something you might find interesting when I changed mine I took the upper manifold off the lower and cleaned it and the TB and could not believe the power it freed up prob. more than any single mod. Ive done.Just something to think about.

When I changed mine the contacts were 12.00 :)

I dont think very easy is a fair description.

Starter!

No I didnt replace the whole exhaust just the headers and Borla mufflers.Once its all done Im going to an exhaust to have the mid-section done in 2.5in. and replacing the resonator with an X pipe.Ill have to let you know on the noise levels but from what Ive researched it shouldnt be much louder.On the sensors they thread right in its removing the old manifolds thats a pain.Im anxious to see what you get done on the factory snorkel Ive always thought of doing this but have never had the time.Please post and let us know how it goes.Here is a good link on the headers.Good Luck http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread...highlight=S%26S

Are they the S&S headers?I am currently installing a set and they are a .I dont expect huge gains as the stock manifolds arent too bad.

If done correctly it should last as long as a new motor.

Btw on this previous case of a blown motor I recall saying I wouldnt accept a used motor and everyone seemed to think it wasnt a big deal.Well heres a good example of why I wouldnt, an insurance company was supposed to provide a used motor for a customer who had lost there engine in a flood.The bad motor had 50k and they found a used motor with 20k to install.When the motor arrived and the vin was ran it showed the motor had a service history for 90k.So once again I wouldnt accept a used motor!It sound like theyre going to rebuild yours and if so I would have a Lexus master certified tech do the work.Whatever you do get a long warranty dont settle for this 6 month

Sorry to hear.I belive it was only a few wekks ago we had this same conversation on a Toyota dealer damaging a 300 engine.Maybe this is a sign it is not a good idea to take your Lexus to a toyota dealer. I wonder if Corvette owners take them to Buick stores to get them serviced??Prob. not.Point is Lexus techs see these cars all day long and know what to look for and how to properly diagnose,it may cost more but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.

No the SRT adds a throaty V8 sound to the car its not loud at idle but when you get into the throttle it sounds like a V8.Its never really loud like a domestic V8.I think it sounds great and very few people dont like the mod after hearing it.Ive shown mine to alot of conservative old prudes who didnt like the idea of modding the car and they have ended up loving it.Good luck
