  1. i dont mean for daily driving.I have a gs 4 w/a ton of mods and havent had a chance to try it yet but I will.My buddy runs it at the track in his 96 Cobra and swears by it.Also I thought these cars were higher compression.By the way I spank that Cobra everytime we race and its not sloww.
  2. Have u thought about a diff. rear end gear? also it is in first when u start in manual u just cant make that first shift from first to second or from second to first on your way down.Also if u havent tried stage it on the line you will get better results.
  3. Buy whatever u want Thats what I did when I bought my gs 4 at the age of 20.Why spend your money on something else u dont like as much.And by the way my gs 4 has been great not a prob.Ive done some mods and shes unstoppable.
  4. Does anyone know anything about running 110 race fuel?Ive heard of some guys mixing 50/50 with 94.Sounds Dangerous to me.
  5. Which rear end are u talking about im changing mine right now which is turning into some work .Do your research and get the right stuff.

Maybe stealer was the wrong choice of words.I forgot to mention that while they spent 4 hrs on it they put me in a brand new RX330,checked out the whole front end,brought my steering back to center alligned it,and ran a complete diagnosis,for FREE maybe i shouldnt call them a stealer anymore.Thanks Tom Wood Lexus.
  7. I recently bought a trd rearend that is supposed to be a 3:76 . What I got was a diff. carrier no gear or pinion and I dont understand how this carrier can change the ratio w/o a diff. ring and pinion.Can someone help I want to get this thing in.If it helps the part # is 41301-js402 and it says discrimination yellow.
  8. Well dont I feel stupid.It was the brakes. how can new crossdrilled and slotted rotors w/ceramics be warped?Thanks foe the help and maybe next time I shouldnt expect the worst.

  10. I have an L tuned susp and cross drilled slotted brembos w/ ceramics I know its not the brakes. there is a shake from 60 -70 w/o the brakes but when u hit the brakes its terrible.I do reset my ecu quite often but for the power mode I drive hard as it is I need some gas mileage.

Im going to the stealer fri. and need some help?1st Ive got the shake in my brakes that everyone is complaning about that isnt really a brake prob.Ive heard some talk about a stabilizier bar or a poss. bushing to look for .2nd Ive heard of the 98 gs400 ecu being able to be reprogrammed to eliminate the hesitation when u first hit the gas.Is this poss?

I have this same prob w/ my 98 gs4 and it has drilled n slotted brembos w/ceramics.My buddys 1st gen had the same prob. and it wasnt the brakes Im guessing it could be a bad part carried over from the first gen to the sceond.Regardless ive got an appt. at the dealer Fri. to figure this out and im not leavin till its fixed so ill let you all now what i find.

I have this same prob. and i also have brembos drilled and slotted w/ceramics and still shakes like crazy.Its really making me mad I have this great car which I have spent a ton of money customizing and when I take someone for a ride and touch the brakes its makes it look like a peice of I have a 98 gs4 and my buddy had a 1st gen 300 and had the same prob. Could this be a part and problem they carried from the 1st gen to the 2nd? Does anyone know what they carried over that could cause this.
  15. The piece I am looking for attaches to the bottom of the stock bumper.It runs all the way across and is 3-4 inches tall.It makes the car look lower and makes the bottom of the front bumper flat from end to end.It may not be RMM but im pretty sure it is .Thanks
  16. I am looking for the rmm front lip that mounts to the bottom of the stock bumper cover on a 98 gs4.Does anybody know where i can get the best deal on it?Anybody have a used one?
  17. I have the same prob. on my gs4 it has new crossdrilled and slotted rotors and ceramics and still shakes its driving me nuts.
  18. i bought the ecu for my gs400 and noticed no diff.I have a full ltuned susp.and the ecu did nothing for me and it wasnt that easy to change either.
  19. I had this same prob w/ my 98 gs4 and changed the pads and it went away the pads were still good but after changing them it has been gone for over 2 years good luck.

  23. hey monstarr who is building your headers id love to have some for my 400.Also rkpub you should lookon ebay for a rear stb I bought one for $50 new this guy is constantly listing them I was kinda worried about the quality for the price but I decided to check one out and it was a great deal it is very nice you cant beat it for the price.I think the price scares alot of people off ( so cheap) but is nice. look for a brace that is polished finish with blue ends there always on there and it made a huge diff.Good luck
