  1. They would be replacing the Dunlop Runfarts on the the stock 17" rims. I will most likely go with 225/50-17. steviej
  2. There is a problem in the charging system. Your alternator is going (not putting out the proper voltage). At some point you won't be able to start it. If you can take it in, then get it checked as soon as possible. It sounds as if it is driveable (at least right now), try taking it to Autozone and have the battery and charging system checked. I think this is a free service. steviej
  3. I am hoping at least 30k since I just had them put on my GS300 AWD. As of the Yokahamas, it never hurts to ask. See if they will cut you a break on the Michelins with the return/replacement of the Yokahama. Lexus can't say they don't know about the tires as many have reported it. steviej
  4. come this winter I have narrowed it down to: the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D (H rated) or the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 (V rated). steviej
  5. they should be printed right on the side/base of the sensors. yeah, I know. I paid $2999 for 4 graphite G-Spiders mounted/balanced with 4 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (245/40-18) and 4 sensors programmed. But they look soooooo coool. B) steviej
  6. Are you sure about this? I just called tirerack and they said that the aftermarket TPMS they supply is compatible. I found a local Toyota dealer willing to do the programming, all they need is the ID code. That is what Lexus has told me and what I have read on several forums. If you get it done, let us know if it works. steviej
  7. Does that $125 include the removal and disposal of you current tires and the mounting and balancing of the new ones or is that just the price of the rubber? Let me know how much the "extras" add up to. My tire guy keeps telling me that he is cheaper than TireRack and DiscountTires in the long run because I don't have to pay shipping and all that stuff comes included in the price he quotes me. just curious. steviej
  8. hhsdan has given a nice description of cabin air filter. jrr, you looking for that filter or the air filter in the engine? on a side note, if you register on www.lexus.com as a new owner (car does not have to be new), you then get instant access to the owners manual and supplemental owners manual in PDF form and you can reguest that they send you brand new ones (for free). steviej
  9. P0401 is ECR Insufficient Flow. Do a search on P0401, or EGR Valve or something related. I think you will fine the EGR valve needs to be cleaned or replaced. steivej
  10. There is a TSB for dash/windshield rattles but the noise is usually made when it is cold out. The fix is simply removing the windshield locator pins. I don't have the lower dash rattle that you speak of. The moonroof may just be a dry gasket. Get some spray silicone and moisten the gasket around the glass with it. It will quiet right down. I had to do this to my ES about every 4-6 months. I found the more I went through carwashes, the quicker it dried out. steviej
  11. And here are some close ups of the CarsonTuned Roof Spoiler. The only question is" what's next!? steviej
  12. Finally the sun has come out. Here are some better pictures of the car and G-Spiders.
