  1. Any ideas for me on where I could order a part or how to install?
  2. The whole sensor got pushed "in" the bumper. It looks like it has a circle surrounding that is missing that would hold it into place. I can get the sensor with some needlenose pliers but there is a gummy/gel surround that makes it hard to work with and I can't pull it "out" of the bumper. Anyone know how I could get this fixed?
  3. Love mine. No hidden fees, tires may wear faster due to weight but I haven't noticed yet.my hihy I've definitely noticed faster tire wear though. I get 22 - 29 mpg... is hard not to drive it fast! (worse fuel economy)
  4. I have noticed a noise lately that happens even after the car is off. It is the metal piece under the hood on the top right [driver side] it looks like maybe a compressor of some sort, makes me wonder of its ttrying to pull some liquid from somewhere to somewhere else, and there is none to pull? It runs frequently while driving too. I think I've always heard it on occasion but not as much as lately.
  5. I got this CEL code at autozone and the tech didnt know which part number I needed? There were 4 options, 2 before and 2 after the cat, each with an upstream or downstream option. Anyone know which one it is and how hard it is to replace? TIA
  6. any links on where to buy - how much they are?
  7. I dont know anything about lowering springs but would like to get some for my 03 gs300. I am going to be getting some 18x7.5 rims and want to "close the gap" a little bit. Any recommendations on which ones to buy, maybe a low, med, and high quality options with pros/cons on each? Also, how hard are they to install? Thanks
  8. Im looking at getting some ROX - Dogtooth Rims that are 18x7.5 discounttire says they will fit. THey have 10 holes so two offsets and they are 5x112 5x114 WOndering if these will fit - and also wanting to know if I want to lower the car a little bit to remove some of the space above the tire how to go about doing that - or which springs to order to have installed. How much of a change will this have on my driving experience? Thanks -
  9. Do you have any pics? Also " the car needs atleast the same outer diameter " Can you explain a little more? How can I determine which rim size I should get to get low profile tires - so my car will be a little lower.
  10. Im debating on some new tires to get, also kind of want some chrome rims instead - but a happy medium might be to just put low pro tires on the stock rims I have on my 03 gs300 - Anyone know where I can get a picture of this to see if it is the look I am wanting? TIA Ross
  11. Anyone know if there is a site that will tell you if they will fit or not?
  12. 20 inch asanti af131's. tires are nitto nt555. rear wheels are 20x10, fronts wheels are 20x9.5. Wondering if these would fit on my 03 gs300? Probably a dumb question I know, im just not sure how to figure that out. Also wondering why sometimes rims will say if they are for FWD or RWD - what does that matter? The GS300 is RWD, has traction control, does that matter? TIA
  13. PROBLEM SOLVED Save this one for the archives... Basically a guy that does mechanic work out of his garage fixed this, and I can see a dealer charging all kinds of money for troubleshooting as its such a random/strange noise. It was best described as sounding like acorns or rocks were rolling towards you when you take off from a stand still. It sounded like water a little bit when we were going slow. Basically he took a coat hanger and cleaned out the hole in the evaporation tray was, when the ac is on and condensates it goes to this reserve and drips out the hold, it was clogged and not draining properly. ALso - he noticed my anti-freeze was low (something you should check too) there were no leaks, but he did find there were air bubbles in the line which was causing some noises too. Hope this can help others that have the same issue - reply here or mail me if you need more details, my mechanic can get more specific.
