  1. I wanted to know if someone can help me out. I have a 04 Grand Prix and bought Eibach (sp?) lowering springs and had a 1 1/2 inch drop on the car. It looks really nice with the 18's i put on it. The thing is, when i am driving on a smooth road with little grooves and hills it feels like I am on a boat or something. the people in the back go up and down and almost hit there heads on the roof. Is there another piece i have to add to make the ride feel like it was before i lowered it or is this just the way things are. When i hit a pothole or bump of course you feel it cause it is lowered but i just wanted to get rid of the rocking. I just got a GS and wanted to lower it too and wanted to hear from you guys before i do. Thanks.
  2. I think the car looks beautiful without being lowered. There isn't eve much of a gap . Thats nice, good luck with that.
  3. Does anyone have any pics with a GS on 20's with out it being lowered. I wanted to see how much room is in the wheel well with the 20 inch rim and if it looks nice or does it have to be lowered to look nice. Just not sure if i should lower my car or not. I didn't buy the rims yet. Thanks in advance
  4. i went down to the dealership a few monthes ago and with 0 down and 48 month lease it should be about 440 or 450 a month. 500 is way to much, that is what people pay for a GS.
  5. I was just wondering if 20'' rims will fit a 2005 ES330 or is the biggest rim only 19''. Looking forward to hearing from the experts. Thanks
  6. I wanted to know what is the longest amount of years of bank will give you on a used GS430 (2001) . Some told me that is was 5 years and some told me 5 1/2 years. If the car is around 25,000, I would like my payments to be around 370 a month assuming i have really good credit which i do. I was thinking no money down or maybe a thousand. Can anyone help me out with this or have any advice. If i do get a 5 year loan, is it bad to keep trading the car in after 3 or 4 years. I know that if i do it that way i will never gain equity, but do you think the payments will go up by alot. I am really interested to hear answers from people who have loans out on GS's. Please share advice and experiences. Thanks
  7. I have bought 5 or 6 of them already. All of them come in black and silver with 20 inch chrome. They sell them Kaybee toy stores, toys r us, k-mart, and walmart.
  8. You can probably get a 95 or 96 ES300 that looks great and have under a 100,000 miles, just a idea.
  9. I seen a few on Autotrader for about 16 and 17 thousand dollars. But if you like it, than go for it.
  10. Hey guys. My dream car is a Lexus GS300 or really 430, but as long as it is GS. I want to buy one used and my limit is about $24000 over a five year loan. It scares me to take out a five year loan and when the car is paid off it will most likey be about 9 years old. My other option was to lease a brand new ES and it would be realiable and cheaper for the full four years. With the new GS's coming out in May, My plan is to wait about 3 years until I can get the new body GS for about $24 or 25 thousand. Do you guys think a five year loan is bad and then the car is 9 years old or do you think I am looking to far into the future and I should enjoy the car which ever year it is or lease a brand new ES. I can't wait to hear your responses. Thanks
  11. I had the same problem with my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. They told me it could be a problem with the chip in the key, but it was the molded wires around the computer chip or ECU chip i think it was called. It definitely sounds like a wiring probem for the car to start when you turn it back once. I used to have to turn the key on real quick to almost trick the sensors or something. It is probably wiring. I it helps
  12. I was just wondering if 20's will fit on a 2005 ES 330 without to have any modifications done to the body of the car or is 19's the biggest size. thanks
  13. there was also a sivler GS in an episode of the Sopranos last season. Its when they throw a bag of money out the window and tony's cousin finds it.
  14. I would go with the ES, it has more horsepower and the luxury is the best with the woodgrain.
  15. Also, in the movie BELLY, Method is driving a Black GS430 with chrome rims and has a shootout with the cops and peels off.
  16. At Lexus.com you can find vidoes of the GS . I am not sure if thats what you are looking for, but it has like 2 vidoes of each model.
  17. I am just curious for all you GS owners that bought your cars used, in the last 4 years how much money did you guys put into your cars to keep it maintained and running smooth. I am not talking about modifications, just things like engine and electrical. thanks, I am not trying to be nosey, just trying to figure out to buy a used GS or lease new. If I lease, It is going to be expensive, but new and reliable. If I go used, it will be cheaper, but most likely eventually will need some work done. Thanks.
  18. I was just curious if anyone new how much it would cost to have a GS repainted so it looks like it did when it first came from the showroom. Just an estimate or maybe someone in here has already done so. thanks
  19. Thanks alot guys, I appreciate your info. I found a 2001 GS300 with 52K miles at a dealership in NY that got it at an auto auction. They said it passed a 105 auto inspection. I am not really sure what that means. But, when the time comes, I probably won't feel that nervous about purchasing the car knowing that you guys have GS3's with miles over 60K and they run fine. Thanks Alot.
  20. I just wanted to know some opinions about a GS300 with 50K miles on it and it is a 2001. Is that a good car to buy with no warranty, do they usually have problems after 50k Miles. I know i will have to do the maintanence type of things, but i really mean will i have any problems with the engine or electrical stuff. I am nervous to spend 25,000 on a car over 5 years, with no warranty. I was thinking about leasing, but i will pay a high monthly note and end up with nothing in 4 years. I am looking forward to your responses. Thanks a lot.
  21. I think it was a good choice because it is a brand new car. In inside of a ES is beautiful, even my favorite car is the GS.
  22. I was just wondering if anyone knows when the body style is going to change on the ES. Thanks
