  1. I have had my windshield replaced on my grand prix last week because of a rock hitting the windshield. If the crack is in the driving line of view they will not replace it because the chemical they use to fill it leaves a glare in the sun. A glass company replaced the whole thing for $225.
  2. Thanks alot, i appreciate the info, I was thinking when the five years is up, i would sell it, it would probably be worth at 8 or 9 thousand even being 8 years old and i would use that money for a newer GS430 or by that time 460. At least then i'll have a descent size down payment. I guess you gotta start somewhere.
  3. Hey Guys, i was wondering, if i get a 03 GS430 with 60k miles on it on a 5 year loan. In the fives years that i have the car, what kind of repairs can i expect to have with the car and what kind of money will i be spending on these repairs. I really like the GS430, but probably can't afford over $26,000 so the high milage is what i am faced with. I know the GS3 is cheaper, but i really like the V8. Thanks in advance.
  4. I just wanted some opinion on what you guys would do. Would you buy a lower milage 02 or a higher milage 03 when they cost almost the same price. Do these V8's have more problems than the V6(GS300) or it doesn't matter. In the future i am looking into a 430 , my budget is around $28,000 and i know i can find an 03 for that price with about 50k miles on it or an 02 with 35k miles on it for the same price. I know this is a stupid question, but the paint and exterior shouldn't really fade or dull that much between the year of the car. What would u guys do? thanks in advance.
  5. New ES350 from auto show in Chicago.
  6. I live in NJ, is it possible to have a local Lexus Dealer get a car shipped here that is in a dealer in Florida or Texas for example. Do the dealers work like a sort of network like that or is that impossible. I have been searching autotrader and i have found some good deals in different states. I really don't want to fly anywhere and have to drive the car across country. Thanks in advance.

  8. I would definitely purchase the car. Those numbers sound high for a lease. At least if you buy the car, you could trade it in in 4 or 5 years and still make money on it because they hold there value so well. You may still owe 10 or 15 thousand, but the car might be valued at 20 or 25.
  9. If i decide to get the new IS250, money will limit me to some of the options. I really want the DVD/Navi in the car but probably won't be able to afford it until I save more money. I wanted to know some of the aftermarket DVD/navi that people are using in their lexus'. I am trying to keep it around a $1000-1500. Thanks in advance.
  10. Doesn't the warranty cover the heated seats wiring and stuff like that. They are supposed to fix the breaks and check all fluids before they sell it. I would have taken the car back to them and made the fix all of the stuff. Thats not right what they did. I have seen alot of cars selling much cheaper from that dealer on autotrader. I wonder if that is the reason why they are cheaper.
  11. I was doing some research last night on the web and i found many forums talking about a GS350 and GS460 coming out in 2 years. What do u guys think and have you heard anything. The guy who posted it said he worked at a dealer and saw the papers. the 350 will have 300HP and 460 will have 340HP.
  12. I was reading alot yesterday on the internet and many forums were saying that the next ES will be the 350 with 280HP. Do you guys think that this accurate since the Toyota Avalon and the ES are similiar?
  13. These are for GS300s. The GS430's were around 32,000 or higher.
  14. Hey guys, i have been seeing a ton of GS's on autotrader for under 29,000. I have seen 4 or 5 2003 and even 2004 for that price. Even a 2004 for 27 and change with only 35,000 miles on it. Is this due to the body make over? In two or three years, do you think the current body-style GS will have these same prices or is this out of the ordinary. thanks in advance.
  15. Hello guys, i have been checking all over the place to see if I could find a model car of the Lexus ES any year. Wondering if anyone has seen any. Thanks in advance.
  16. What kind of deals if any are they offering on the GS300. 1500 out of pocket
  17. I went in last year to lease an ES330 and it was cheaper for me to go with a 42 month lease rather than a 48 month lease. I have no idea where they get their numbers from. I guess it is just the lease program and the way it is structured. 3000 cap reduction cost would probably run you about 4500 out of pocket with the fees. that is expensive. If you went with no money down and just fees you can probably get the IS250 around 450. Is there a way to just pay the first monthes payment and roll all the other fees such as security and other fees into the monthly payment. When they say no money down, it really means only fees which is like 1500 down to me.
  18. Does anyone know what kind of deals are going on with lease prices for the IS, ES, and GS. Is it worth to always lease a lexus in december so when the lease is up in 3 or 4 years, you can take advantage of the December to remember sale. Thanks for you input guys.
  19. I think the car Looks hott man. I love the 22's. Do you and don't listen to anybody else.
  20. You can buy the headrest that has the TV already in it and the installation is pretty easy. My father ordered them off some website. They look really nice and they come in Black, Grey, and tan leather. Its an option.
  21. I agree, if you are putting more than 3 or 4 thousand down, you mind as well buy it because your paying alot out of pocket. Leases are good when you have less or no money to put down and want to drive in a new and sometimes higher end car. I hope i have helped.
  22. Those are pretty good rates, so it shouldn't be over 7.5% if i have good credit. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.
