  1. Lex411, are you saying that it is better to lease the GS rather than going with a 72 month loan. I didn't really understand? Sorry, i am not real good with numbers. lol. The part that bothers me with the lease is i will have to put almost 2500 out of pocket, but on the other hand it will be a new car. If i take out a 72 month loan on a 3 year old GS, how high do you think my interest rate will be with teir 1 credit, out of NJ.
  2. Hey guys, is it possible to put no money down on a loan? For example, $29,000 over 72 monthes. Or do you always have to put something down. I have been calling places and they are giving me all kinds of answers. Assuming i have great credit. Thanks in advance.
  3. Has anyone checked up on the lease prices for the new is250. I know everyone has different credit and stuff but i am talking just ball park figures. Thanks
  4. Thanks for the info guys, i am actually working right now for a pharmacuetical company that markets drugs. My parents tell me that i should stay there. I'm just not the type of person that likes to travel accross the United States. I would rather be home. (in state of NJ) We'll see though. My father was a salesman his whole life so i figured i might follow him.
  5. Hey guys, I am finishing college this year and was thinking about getting a job for lexus as a salesman. I really love cars and lexus and thought that might be a place for me to excel and enjoy going to work in the morning. Just wondering if anyone in here can tell me anything as for as the work week goes. The times and days. I know you must work saturdays because it is your busyest day(sp?). Just kind of what the job is like and is it the kind of job you can have and maintain a good relationship with family. (wife, kids). I know it is a lot of hours. Anything will help. thanks guys.
  6. That is what i was thinking, it might only be a 1.5 or 2 years left but it beats the down payment and all the fees. Plus, you can buy it out if you like it. I am just trying to see what everyone thinks.
  7. I went on Swaplease.com and seen many Lexus cars that you can take over people's leases. There were Gs's on there for 450 a month and Es on there for 350 a month. I figured it would be good for me to do this because you don't have to pay all of the fees that you would when you first lease the car and the person already spent the money on the down payment to get the price low. Let me know what you guys think and if you have heard of this. The lady also said that you can get a lexus lease from PA for example and return it to a dealer in NJ. When the lease is up. Is that true? Thanks in advance.
  8. Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone here knows anything about swaplease.com It is a company that allows people to take over people's leases. I have seen some GS's on there with 24 months left and 12 monthes and some even 48 monthes left. I was thinking if i took over one of those people's leases, i wouldn't have to put a large down payment and all of those fees you have to pay when you first lease a car. I seen one for $450 a month. Let me know what you guys think and if you have heard of this. Thanks in advance.
  9. In order for me to get a 06 basic GS with no AWD or NAV. Would 3 or 4 thousand out of pocket get me in a $450-$470 price range? What is needed to get into a New GS out of pocket and monthly payment. Is there any programs going on now. Thanks in advance
  10. Thanks for your help. i do about 15-17k a year with my job and i was going to buy a used GS300 with about 45k miles on it already. When i do trade that car in a few years down the road i would have probably taken a big hit. So i should just shop around for good deals and don't set my heart on one car when i lease because the particular month might be bad for leasing? i really want to lease a GS for 48months or even 60 but i know the payments will be almost 600 a month. thats too much for me right now.
  11. Hey Lex411, i don't mean to bother you with another question, but would it be smart than to just finance the car, maybe an 04 or 05 over 60 monthes or 72 monthes and have that monthly payment even lower than a lease for a brand new one. Do you think the trade-in value at 15k per year would be good on a ES that is about 5 or 6 years old with 80k on it. Just trying to figure out if it is worth financing it over a lease if i am going to get killed with the trade-in value from the dealer when the time comes to get a new Lex. thanks
  12. That is why i like to lease cars because you don't have to worry about tradin value after you spend so much money. You basically pay for how much you used the car. Thats just me. I want to buy a preowned GS but i know i am the kind of person that would only keep it 4 years and on a 5 or 6 year loan i will probably get killed with the tradin value.
  13. How many miles is on the GS430 and what is the value of the car. It sounds like the dealer is trying to screw you.
  14. I am thinking about purchasing a GS430 from a New York Auction place (Major World). They advertise alot in the NY area. There is a 2002 GS430 there in black with 48,000 miles on it. I like the car alot and it is an excellent price. I am worried that i am going to take a 6 year loan and the car is going to be deffective because it is from an auction and the price is low. Has anyone bought from an auction? If i went to lexus and wanted to buy a 3 year warranty. How does that work. What is the process and what kind of price might i expect to pay for the warranty? Thanks guys
  15. Do you think the car would have to be lowered a bit to look nice with the 19's or would it look good at stock height?
  16. Hello guys, Will 20's fit nice on an 05 ES or is it better to go with 19's.
  17. Your car looks fine without it being lowered. The 20's look big because the wheel well on the current GS is smaller than the previous one. Nice carz!
  18. Hello All, I wanted to know the going rate for the Xexon Hid Headlights for lexus vechicle. Mainly the GS model. (2000-2006). Installed and all. Thanks in advance.
  19. I just wanted to know how coilovers work when your car is lowered. You can adjust the height at anytime without taking of the rims. Is it as simple as pulling over on the highway and raising your car up in a few minutes. I don't mean to sound stupid but i really don't have to much knowledge about them and would like someone who has them or knows about them to explain. thanks in advance.
