ok first to brandshaw:yea,i know it is more difficult then it seemed,that is why i went herre.i dont want to waste money on aother projector. ill just try and be careful:). well the resister im gonna use is the one it says on the website so... yea. bdonkergoed: OMG,THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. that was even more then i was hoping to get in a reply.THAT JUST HELPED ME SOO MUCH. ive got a few questions though. ill pair them up with the steps u gave 1.i have a dremel tool,well my dad does. so ill just use that for notches. my question is did u just notch the whole stick. b\c i noticed on the site the guy always left a littl undremmeled on top. which i thought was ugly and always uneven though. just making sure that notching the whole thing works out fine. 2.well you dont have a two^_^ 3. alright my main ocncern here is what do i actually puy in the oven. wont the plastic casing melt?!?! like yu said the glue will melt but ,im retty sure at greater then 200 tdegree temparatures,plastic melts liek crazy,and the whole casing is plastic. 4. ok all claer about that. 5.clear 6. what do u mean its not perfectly round in there.i took a look and it looks liek the two projectors are infact different sizes,so i understand that . but are u saying the projecters are a lil oval? if so howd that work out...having circular rods and oval prjectors. 7. alright ill just use the dremel saw again but everything else makes sense. 8. hmm i think my dad prabably has silicone glue but if not can i just get that at liek home depot? 9.ok 10.ok 11. a lil confused here on what to reheat. the black (back) part of the casing? but take all the projectors out? 12.ok 13. ok about the wiring i want to make it work with a switch .but ifg i wanted to do what u did. where do i hoook it up to? where inside the engine bay is a place to hook wires up!?!? 14.yay! alright ive got a few questions that wherent mentioned in the steps. alright first i want to ask isonce i hook up everything how can i make it so that like the inner ones turn on with one switch and the outer ones with another. i understand that i have to buy a switch from radio shack(i tihnk from there) then take the wiring from the eyes and hook it up to the corresponding switches and then take wiring from the other end of the switch and hook it up to (what should i hook it up to ,so that i can turn them on anytime i want to with the switch). how doio get the switches insidew the cabben though??? and where do u guys think woudl be a good place to put it. right now im thinking everwhere else would be either too hard or ugly,so ill just but them by the pedals,where noone can see them. alright i tihnk everything else i got down. srry for so many questions you guys, i just want to make sure to start off with as much knowledge as possible,to avoid the trial and error,and get straight to making it.

i have the weapoin arm short ram,but i dont wanna argue about the performance gains\losses. ithat wasnt the point of my thread,i really just wanted to know a way to imrpove my low end. its funny my friend has a regualr 94 mustang and that thing is pretty slow but has massive torque compared to horses,like 215 torque but 155 horses. anywayyys, side by side when we race of the line he just rips of the line(also RWD,advantaage) and till about 3500 rpms for me,he just rips ahead then all of a sudden i feel the power coming in aand i beat him easily with no challange. its funny,for onlookers it sorta looks liek my car has a turbo ,b\c u know how all those turbod cars usually loose in the 60ft in the 1\4 mile but then rip ahead. thatrs sorta what it looks like. also chack out my post on angel eyes SK

is there anything i can do to get more kick in my low end? b\c its JUST ORRIBLE. like my car is faster over with the intake ,but when it comes to low end,like from idle to like 3000 (so mostly just liek off tyhe line) its jsut HORRIBLE liek it prabably takes as long to get to 3500 as it does for the car to go from 3500 and redline and then go thoruhg half the next gear. feels liek theres absolutly NO TORQe . but i must say with the intake once my car goes past 4000 it feels liek when a turbo kicks in,u can feel a HUGE gain. so thats why it ends up begin faster overall liek in a race thats more then liek a 1\10 mile. but is there somehting i can addon to improve the low end. im definatly not taking off the intake b\c im in love with the sound and the overall performance gain. but yea this is the disadvantage,the feel of the low end. liek it feels the same pick up speed as if b4 i got the intake i woudl just press half throttle and prabably it would be the same torqe. but i infact know its faster b\c friend that has almost exact same car as me,same year and everything . ran a lil kslower. and its a automatic so obviosully there isnt human error,lol

well u guys said its bad mostly b\c of the carbon buildup everywhere,but if u push it evryonce in a while,liek go fast. that cleans out nearly all the carbon so is it really that bad then?

yea on http://students.washington.edu/ashis/Creat...ngel%20Eyes.htm he just connects the LED to a battery i want to make it so they only tunrn on when my lights turn on. damn this is looking very complicating. when i first read it it looked easy but now that im reading more into it,its looking hard. and risky

alright this sunday(pretty sure this sunday) im putting on angel eyes. im making them with the instructions from that one site. ok but b4 i do i want to ask a few question.how can i make it so that when i turn on my regular rights only the outer blue LED's turn on and then when i turn on my far lights then the inner ones turn on. like the instructions doesnt describe really how to do all the power connections and stuff. can someone give a detailed instructions how. and also let me get this right . i have to take out the whole light cssing. put my oven to 300 and then for ten minutes put the whole casiong in there?? and then pry open the casing. then to clear out the corners i just reheat it for another 10 minutes at 300 and scrape of the red? after that how should i attach the circular things to the projecters? super glue?!?! lol also anyone know how big the projecters are liek diameter wise? alright thanx.

Does anyone know who has done this "Do it ureself" angerl eyes? or anyone know anyone that has angel eyes on their es300,hows it look. Also SK do u know of any precautions i need to take. how woul di open up my headlight without breaking anything. And im thinkin about it and if i already open up my casing then i might as well clear the corners,but thats a different topic. What i hope to do is make a blue LED angel eyes. That would look so sweet. does anyone know what the cops would say,b\c i dont think your aloud to have blue coming out of your car,but making a switch for the angel eyes would not only be better,that you can turn them on and off to showof but also for if a cop says anything.:). but it woudl also be like next to impossible for DIY. but hey anythings possible.

well first off,i put POSSIBLE future mods,second of all all that has been done. theres someone on this forum thats turbo'd their es300 and i believe someone also supercharged it. And the re-upholstry,there are people that have done that here.

it was a talon. it was all stripped interior,looked like a OLD piece of !Removed!,you kno the usual fast car ricer look.i think prabably 93 or older talon.but guess you cant argue with its speed.

Well i LOVE the headlights on the BMW's,and especially the semi circle outlines they create on the body. so is there any conversion for my lights to a bmw's i think the bmw lights are called angel eyes,and i know it can be done for hondas so im wondering what about lexus's

Well on the weekend i went to my local racetrack and ran my best time of 16.9 i was dissapoointed b\c i woudl think it would run like either 16 or low 16's. But it was still very fun ,i ran 4 times all in the range of 16.9-17.1 my last run was against a 12 second car,lol. wow like i just got into second gear and all of a sudden he flys by. i end at 81 mph he ends at 109 If it woud help anyone i would be able to scan the 4 slips.

My dads so hard to deal with,he talks to this other guy and this other guy tells him why do you need good rated tires you wont go that fast,so my dad wants to buy some 50 dollar bfgoodrich t rated POS tires. I think i might be able to comvince him for better tires but if not i think we might just go with kuhmo's that are same price but atleast H rated and better then POS he wants. Im gonna go to my local toyo dealer and ask how much i can buy the tpt's for with dealer discount,vendros discout,b\c my uncles a dealer:). if its around 70 or 80 i think i might be able to get him that high by adding some money,its just im short on cash but i will try. what do u guys think?

yea i think ill prabably be getting the proxy tpt's. Does anyone have a place where they recommend i get them,that will install them for me and for a good price. Because i dont know of any placees near buy that sell toyo. Worse comes to worse ill order online(any recomendations from where?) and ill get costco to install them and everything for 10 bucks each tire. now the only thing thats stopping me is that im thinking of getting rims within a year so that means if do get rims i jsut wasted like 400 dollars,b\c i will need new tires again

Ive been looking for some rims to buy for a while,b\c im planning to replace my stock ones maybe within a year. I have found the ones i REALLY REALLY like. when i saw a pic of sk's car. The giovanna anzios. Ive looked in many places and everywhere they come up no cheaper then a set of 4 for like 2100 Is that how much you paid?!!!! if it is do you know of any rims that look like this but are maybe a differnt,cheaper, company. I was looking for around the 1300 range. :whistles:

If i lived by you then i would definatly buy ure cold air intake,but u said u only make it locally(on some other post) At a side note though,have you dynoed your car b4 and ater with a short ram addon that shows its worse performance? im just wondering if you have. i would dyno my car but cant for several reasons,first of is closest dyno that i kno of is summit racing which is an hour in a half awaay and only day i think i can get it dynoed is at some even thats going to be at like july. second its 25 dollars for 2 runs. and i dont really want to spend 25 dollars just to see whos right,b\c i dont really think it matter. Did you by any chance dyno your car when it was stock b\c i really want to know wat my car had at the wheels stock.( i kno every car is a lil different but atleast a close range)

so pretty much any one directional performance tire is out of the question,if i dont want noise and ride quality to take a beating. Im just asking b\c these types of tires look good :D and plus i heard they give you much better performance\handling.

If you would like giving e the money then inll be glad to take a dyno of b4 and after,lol :D
