speaking of sleepers,damn the one suv by mercedes. forgot what it is. My friend got it for a day. HOLY *BLEEP* is all i can say. my other friend has a 97 eclipse,thats pretty fast,its modified. well they where arguing which would win ain a race. so they raced couple times from a light. wow like couple times i was behind it watching them ,and like its really wierd seeing a sports car and SUV line up and seeing the suv pull away ahead of it. then i sat in it. and it really does put u in ure seat and its a suv! i jsut thought that was AMAZING.

oh yea i know about that,srry if i misleasd you. i would never spray anything on the rotors. i know i cant do anything about the brakes,bu !Removed! jsut annoying. i learned this when i was like 12 on my mountain bike i sprayed some tire shine and it got all over the silver part where the brakes are. didnt stop very well. hmm ill look into the belts. i just know it just started happeneing as soon as i started to keep my car outside. And my dad said that is why it needs dressing. but u might be right. on average how how many miles does a belt saposed to last?

im *BLEEP*ed i have 62,000 miles on myne and my dad just told me he lost track and hasnt changed the oil since 54,000~~?~?~!?#!@#@ so obviously i just took it and changed the oil,but i was *BLEEP*ed. atleast he always took care of it b4 this incident. but how bad is that,8 thousand miles. what sucks is we have a two car garage so i have to keep my car outside from now on. thats bad for the car. already my belts and brakes are squeeking a little bit from all the raining . my dad says thats normal i just have to spray them with some lube or something liek that. he will do it for me this weekend.

at 130 thats bad,soft cars means worse handeling and also means that if u fealt liek ure gliding its b\c u hardly have any tractyion its so soft,so thats dangerious.

my cars a 1996 and i dont thinnk its ever had a tune up. was thinking about getting one but decided i didnt have 700 dollars to spend one something thats not broken(well dont even have 700 in the first place)

my last tank i got 20 mpg,thats like 85% city.also i gunned it alot in the last 1\4 tank. afterwards i filled up and right now im getting so good gas milage it seems,like im almost 100 miles and not even 1\4 the tank is gone and thats according to the fuel gauge. so either all that gunning it cleared out alot of carbon deposit which made it run better or my gauge is just wrong. also i had a question,im a ten so i watch my money spending closely and when i started to have to pay for gas ive stopped using A\C :) and on downward hills i flip my car into nuetral which usually lowers rpms from liek 2 1\2 or 2 all the way to liek 1. is this bad for the car switching back and forth,of course im not accelerating while switching.

ok well i want to make switches for when i put in my angel eyes, to turn each one individually on or off. but i dont see where i can run the wires from the engine bay into the cabin. where can i?

i just called my dealer and they said their hourly rate is 85 dolalrs,so i see thats about average. and my tuneup woudl cost almost 700 dollars!?!?!!!!!!!!! definatly not getting a tuneup:). ill prabably jsut buy some spark plugs myself(my dad said hes never changed them!),i got a new filter already. i dont know what the pvc valave is,or how important it is. and how important the fuel filter is. also how important is the fuel injection flush. honoestly i dont really care about doing things that would make my car run faster. its a es300 and ive come to understand that its luxewry car,dont care about how fast it is. so really im trying to jsut do things that would further ensure things wouldnt fail\break. i was thinking about selling my es300 b\c im 16 so i have a big itch for something stick and fast. but i kknow for my 96 es300 with 62000 miles i would only get liek 8 thousand(salvage) so i woudlnt be able to get anything good anyways unless it woudl be a older car,which i woudlnt want. the best part of the lexus is that i always have peopel say,wow youve got a lexus!! looks great. when they dont reallyrealize the their car is most liekly worth more then mine,but noone really knows all that. so its great:) oh and btw,nobody think i forgot about me doign angel eyes on my car. i have got all the parts needed,and the car is fully mine now so i jsut need to find time to do it(school is jsut about to start tomarow). once i do it ill put up pics and such.

haha,u and hating on the intake. i would NEVER throw it out. even if it lessened my horses slightly. the sound is amazing. i love the sound especially the highway. but i understand its good everyonce in a while but i was iuunderimpression that taking it to 6k liek that like wore away the engine liek crazy,might be wrong though. so holding WOT while it switches gears is really that bad? i mean it doesnt rev it or anything in between the gears. what bout when it drops a gear. liek at 25 going WOT it drops to first. is that extremely bad then too.

ok well i have a 96 es300,80 housand miles. is it worth it to do a tune up? liek isnt i 400 dollars?what will they do on the tuneup also i got a question. how bad is it florring the car and takingt it up to liek 6K i know its bad but i sometimes do it every once in a while liek race my friends and *BLEEP*. is it really bad to do it once in a while. like maybe once a week i do it in a day like 8 times.so rthatds liek 32 times a month. im getting worried b\c i jsut got the car and my dad has had it for liek 5years and he said he hasnt fixed liek anything. nothing has broken. and that worries me. b\c its liek the longer u drive without getting a speeding ticket,the more and more u know u are about to get one.(Thats of course if u speed) so its something liek that. im worried. what kind of things should i check that can fail.

yea theres sadyl not alot u can do without spending massive amount of money for custimizing.i have a intake,and im about to put on angel eyes,thats about it though.

wait a second i think this does it for me too,but i tihnk only at the bigiing liek at one stop after a cold start. and is this master cylinder must be replaced or is it something just u replace for comfort of knowing its not cracked

ok how is engine braking ,for the car. i know thats what the 2 nd 1 is specifically made for. and it says in the owners manual u can do it. and i know on a manual transmission its not bad at all. but what about on the lexus auto tranny? is engine braking(but when u drop it dont let it drop to past like 4500,not erven, prabably liek 3500-4000rpms) bad for the tranny at all? does it wear it awway faster at all? thanx

my 1996 is worth $8,355 according to kelly blue book and it has salvage title. but then again it only has 60,000 miles:)
