hmm si actually have sorta a problem,can running lean cause my exuast to smell sorta liek rotten eggs when car is 100% throttle on highway........ also u siad carbon buildup....woudlnt a nice run of 100 mph take care of that..?

at.....? its tthe ntake b\c when i got the intake the gas milage got better.

i feel ure pain! my car all of a sudden jsut started eating gas. i am on empty right now and i went only 230 miles on the 16 gallon tank,and thats with 89 gas! i never had a tune up or anything. but i had my intake installed liek half a year ago so my filter should be fine. oil was just changed.

oh ok gatchya. yea it started working out of no where again. what i was wondering is i have another amp that was laying around and its not like a subwoofer amp its a speaker amp,will it do. its a : rockwood detanator. ok an update. yesterday i turn on my car, and everythign works PERFECTLY fine! plays normally! then later that day after going into a store for about 15 minutes i come back to my car,start it. and again i cant hear anything unless i turn it up all the way. what could this be??! i mean if the amp broke it wouldnt be turning back on all of a sudden.

yea i guess ill have to check the amp. but i just dont see how it can break. i dont play the music past the middle, ad it cant overheat in winter weather,lol. maybe b\c of the coldness one of the wores went bad or something,i guess ill have to check it out. the amp is under the passengers seat....right....

is this really a problem?? this happens to all cars,its common sense. if theres rain or alot of snow then the widow freezes to the plastic rubbering.

ok,i was driving with my dad and i turned off the music . An hour after we got home i took out the car power on the stero and i cant hear anything! No static nothing! i turn the volume fully up and i can HARDLY hear the music. and this is with cd's raio and everything. I know its not the speakers b\c they all play if u put ure ear to them on highest volume. What can this be!?!?!?!?!1 i ahve a 1996 lexus es300

ok im now actually just thinking about buying a remote starter and thats it,b\c i realized i dont really even need an alram,i just really liked the lcd:). b\c without the alarmill save 75 bucks on the instalation and alot on the cost. clostest area around here that can install it is 25 miles and they iwll for 150-180 bucks. i guess thats ok,but not too happy bout it. is there any possible way for self install with the help of a person that knows alot about cars.... or is this one of those things that its a very bad idea to do yourself.

called my local best buy and they wont install it unless i buy it from them. they say its company plicy. damn:(

oh so your saying that it wouldnt work as well, well im sorta used to it i guess. with my key sometimes i have to stand there like 10 seconds tryint get my door to open. And YES i am too lazy to actually put the key inside the door to unlock it.

well yea i know that,but i mean is it really that much worse just b\c of that?As long as it gets the job done without breaking i dont really care.......unless you guys know of it breaking alot or something.... the reason i say this is b\c the viper one doesnt have an lcd or anything. but the expensive one does but its out of my budget for this mod..... b\c instalation will prabably be another 50 bucks....

Why do you want a remote starter kyle? They are a huge waste of fuel & if the car idle's for a pro-longed period of time, it's very bad for the engine, emissions & such.......I'd take a block heater over a remote starter any day & it's a much easier & cheaper item to install to boot. Just my 2 cent's. B) ← i dunno,i just want one:) plus its not like im starting it and leaving it for a while. its for little things like in the mornings its really cold and 5 minutes b4 i leave i have to start my car to warm it up and so its atleast bearable inside the car.
