  1. Haven't had to change the oil yet in my SC, but in my last car (240sx) I used the seafoam in the crankcase as well as the intake. I was told to do the crankcase first, run the engine for 5-10 minutes, then do the intake. That was the first oil change I did in that car, and I switched from conventional to synthetic - never had any problems. But I would definitely suggest changing the oil immediately if you use it in the crankcase.
  2. Here's a few of the best tires available for your car (at a decent price), via Tire Rack - http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp...mp;startIndex=0 check out the reviews and find one you like. I personally favor the Bridgestone Potenza RE960 PS - And an Alignment is probably a good idea.
  3. I actually have this exact same problem right now, but I haven't flushed the fluid or cleaned the filter yet. Did you manage to stop the noise, Paul?
  4. I only use Shell because I get better mpg with V-Power than any other premium. I drive mostly highway and average 26mpg in my 98 SC300. Plus, there's a Shell station right down the street from my apt :D
