Sluggo, you do not know how i feel right now. you were right and now i have a radio. :D the only speaker that doesn't work is the sub, but im just so happy that the radio works. the sub i deal with it later. i appreciate the time you took to explain what it was and how to handle the problem. where can i go to get a transistor to replace the blown one? again thanks so much.

if i were to take out the blown transistor will the amp then work and will i have sound from my radio? also what do you mean "if they were of a lower impedance then the old speakers?"

my back speakers didn't work so i got aftermarket speakers and put them in, but before that the sound on my radio kept going out every now and then. i put the speakers in, it worked for a week and then one morning i turned it on and nothing. no power nothing. my amp shorted out. do you think the new speakers finished the amp off.

i use mobil 1 on my sc400 and i change my oil along with filter every 3000 miles. i do that cause im a pretty hard on my car. i couldn't see myself going 5000 + miles on the same oil.

i finally figured out what kept on blowing my fuse and its the amp. in a nakamichi amp what would most likely short out? i took it apart and im guessing i was looking at the output which would be a row of ten black squares or boxes. 2 big ones and 8 small ones. on the small ones theres one with a little hole. can that be apossibility of the short?

i was watching the news and they had a special about edr's in cars now. similar to the flight recorders on planes. when an accident occurs it records data of the speed, rpms, if you were accelerating, etc.edr dteremines pretty much who's fault it was. they said that they started this 15 years ago. so im wondering can it be in my 94 sc400. can it be in you sc?

if you had a buffer you can buff them out with some polish. they will come out like brand new.

you can have a fast car, but a fast car is nothing without a driver thats knows how to drive. i've raced a couple supras and destroyed them because they didn't know how to drive them cars. what a total waste of a beautiful car.i've also raced a few m3's and mustang gt's and beat them. again the people didn't know how to drive them. like i said i f you don't know how to drive then a car is nothing... SC400 all the way

first car was a 1987 chevy spectrum turbo 5 speed. second, 1989 jetta wolfsburg 5 speed third, 1993 geo storm 5 speed fourth, 1994 LEXUS SC400 Pearl White. my baby which i still have today. B) fifth, 1995 mitsubishi 3000gt 5 speed sixth, 1995 jetta 5 speed seventh, 2000 lincoln ls which i stiil have today along with the sc400. -
the 92-94 sc400 came with that lip. originally it black but i guess that guy had it painted. never seen them on a 95-96.

i have the same problem but my fuse in the engine compartment is blown. i put a new one and it blew again. don't know what to do or where to look for the problem.

i have a 94 sc400. i bought it when it had 65k and now it has 122k. i never changed the tranny fluid. i know shame on me. for the mileage that it has and since its never been done can i still change fluid. give it a tranny flush and put new fluid in?

i know that the engine idles low. whats it suppose to be idling at?

no when the alt went out the first time it was because of the p/s pump. the second time it was the p/s pump again. got a brand new p/s pump and alt. so now the p/s pump is fine and not leaking.

i have a 94 sc400. i wouldn't go from a 400 to a 300. i love the v8. but thats just me. i wish they made the 400 5 speed.

how long have you had the car? have you been changing the tranny fluid or did you just do it for the first time now. im thinking of doing it but i heard it was bad you its never been done. i have a 94 also but it has 122k.

i have no power going through my radio and cd changer also. i checked the engine fuse box and the fuse was blown. i put a new one and the second i put it in it just blew again. i have no idea what it is and where or what to start looking for.

i just got bfgoodrich g-force sports and i love them. real good in price. awesome on dry and wet. they have really good ratings on tire rack.
