  1. Congratulations Kingdunke and welcome to the LOC! She looks awesome... I've always loved the styling fo the SC, although it's 13+ years old, it still looks really modern and seductive ;)
  2. She looks great man! Welcome to the LOC. What kind of audio head unit is that you have installed?
  3. Does the SC ajar its windows whenever you open the door and re-close after the door it's shut? Reason I ask is they may have disabled that somehow so the window will stay all the way up so they could apply the tint to the window. <_<
  4. HA, Micro Machines! I remember them well, I think I got my first set when I was 8 or 9. Cars--------> 80's Band
  5. I'm 29 y/o I bought my 95 LS for $6,500 cash in Feb 07. Man it's nice not having a car payment. :D
  6. Hey Brick, I had an 01 GS300 and had it until 90k miles. It was a great car to me, the problems I had were minimal: an O2 sensor went bad, and two door lock actuators went bad. I'd do the standard procedure like having it checked out by a mechanic and another good idea would be to get the VIN and take it to Lexus so they can pull all the work history they have on it. To answer your question though, it seems like the price is about right given the car is in good shape. Keep us posted about what takes place. Good luck! :)
  7. Hey Carter I don't know about the 99 but I used this procedure for my 95 and it worked on the first try! Good luck :D 1. sitting in driver seat, with driver's door OPEN, press lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR to lock all doors, then manually unlock driver door only. 2. Insert YOUR key in ignition, DO NOT TURN, then remove key. 3. Using the same lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR, slowly press lock-unlock in 5 cycles 4. Shut door. 5. Open door. 6. Using the same lock/unlock button ON THE DRIVERS DOOR, again slowly press lock-unlock in 5 cycles 7. With the door open insert your key into the ignition, turn to 'on' position (DON'T START), wait 5 seconds. Turn off and remove key. 8. Locks should cycle once (Car will lock and then unlock once by herself). If they don't cycle or they cycle more than once, do steps 1-7 over. 9. Now using the remote, push lock button, hold for one second, then release the button. The locks should cycle once. If not, start over and go slower. 10. Close the door. 11. Open the door. 12. Press the lock button on the remote. The locks should do a lock-unlock cycle. 13. Close the door 14. Press the lock button on the remote, the doors should lock. 15. Press unlock button and the doors should unlock. before it get successfully programmed, you will hear a 10-seconds long beep which did take me by surprise! I though I was in big trouble....
  8. Man that's awful. I live in FL and I own my car so the only thing I pay is renewal of the tag every year which cost less than $47. We used to have emissions tests, but they did away with that years ago.
  9. Congratulations Rick!!! She looks just like my LS minus the chrome wheels. On the '95 LS, if there is a factory cd player/changer, it will be in the top glove compartment.
