You bring up some valid points, not supporting Walmart is an "old" issue, but I don't think it's a dead one. Many people still shop there unfortunately. Everywhere I go I run in to people who have no idea of the extent of things the company does and has done. They still keep springing up everywhere under the same pretenses as before, demanding monies from local governments to help them build their stores when they really don't need it. The small business can't qualify for the monies, so they don't get it. Then run everyone out of business and then you probably have to end up working for them for peanuts. I could go on and on, but we already know the majority of these things. The point I'm trying to make is that we should think a little more critically and be a little more aware of what the money we spend, supports.
