  1. Yeah the GS is a 95 and that should be paid off this year, and the Toyota 4runner is an 05 just bought a few weeks ago. .
  2. I don't know about Cali but Mass sucks when it comes to getting anything repaired because of a pot hole. You would think that all the taxes we pay would cover road repairs and the like. We are basically being screwed twice. I have the same problem with my 95 GS 300 touring, if anyone knows of a good place to find the stock rim cheap then please let me know. . . Thanks
  3. Everyone here knows that the price of these vehicles are not cheap. I am curious as to how much everyone is paying monthly and what is your age group? I am 30 and pay less than 700 a month for GS and an 05 4runner. . .
  4. I would buy another GS in a cocaine heartbeat. . . but there are other things that are a little more important right now. . .
  5. Thanks guys, I have a body shop fixing a few things with betsy now. . . Once that is done I am going to have slotted rotors put in since the rotors are warped. I love that car, but my little bro loves it even more. . .I don't think that my mom is going to be happy with her barely 17 year old son driving around in a GS to high school, :whistles: ,, lol. . . oh well, if I had an older bro I would want the same thing if he could do it. . .
  6. I have a 95 GS300 that I am about to give to my little bro, but I am getting everything repaired that was wrong with the car. . . I need to find an AC compressor and replace that, is this something that I can tackle myself? or will the dealer have the necessary tools to do this. Also one of my rims is cracked and need to find a new one, where can I get a stock rim for less than 600? which is what the dealer is trying to charge me
  7. My GS does the same thing and it has ~127500 miles. I am bringing it to the dealership on the 25th, I know that this is going to be a pricey visit but I really love that car. It still runs great even through everything that I have put it through.
  8. hi I own a 1993 gs300 and have 136000mi only issues slow(maybe 1/4qt. every 3000mi) oil leak rear main gasket. Also they are crap in the snow. otherwise outstanding value.way better then camry ← I have to agree. I have a 95 GS and they suck in the snow. I do have a few issues with mine that can easily be resolved with a good technician and some serious coin.
  9. Please help, I am in need of major repairs on my car, and I don't want to pay what the dealer is going to charge me. Does anyone know of a tech or repair shop that does good work in the MA or RI area. Work that needs to be done. . .. AC compressor, summer is coming and I don't want to spend the 1500 dollar price tag that the dealer is giving me. Tune up needed, will need new brakes and my cd changer is stuck . .. Any help would be greatly appreciated. . .
  10. I have a 95 GS 300 Black, tan interior. Where do I began regarding the problems, compressor is gone, dealer is quoting 1500 to repair. Now there is excessive vibration while driving at approximately 40 mph. Also the driver side speakers are now blown and the trunk takes in water. It is going to cost me a lot to repair these things at the dealer, does anyone know of a reputable tech in the Mass or RI area?. . . I really don't want to pay the dealer cost, and I really don't want to get rid of the car. .
  11. It happens at around 40 mph but after approximately 5 minutes of driving it goes away. I was told that one of the tires might have a bubble, not absolutely sure however. .
  12. Anyone have any idea as to why the car is doing this? What's worse is that it doesn't do all of the time. The car will just began to vibrate/shake violently as if the wheels are about to fall off. Anyone have any idea what it might be, so I know if the dealer is telling me the truth or not. . . THANKS
