  4. i just put the sinthetic oil for the first time too!!!! i used mobil 1 with original denso filter, mashined brakes and changed fule filter

  7. i really dont know anything about this scanner, as to another plug, i know there should be another one somewhere on the left of the steering wheel, but so far i cant find it. let me know if you will. we have same cars so it will work for me 2. whats wrong with the plug on the engine? not compatible?

  9. just found out that some soarers (sc300) were equipped with 1JZGTE engines!!!!!! wow!!! factory turbocharged lexus!!!!!!! WOW!!!
  10. www.newlexusparts.com but you can do some research on www.parts.com for all online lexus parts dealers but when i did it i saw the prices fluctuates all around the same evarage with difference around 1-5$

  12. guys!!!! i found the best manual u will ever need!!!! and its available online for 25$ a year. i signed up today and they have everything, all the diagrams and pictures up to each little screw or cable. each procedure is step by step. with that kind if instructions you can do anything!!!! www.alldata.com this is professional resource, all mechanics shoudl use it
  13. perhaps its cheaper for first generation ls 400, i bought original parts for the lowest price i was able to find and its still 800$ not counting new coolant and new oil
  14. i think the codes that lextreme provided are for firast generation, while second generation have different codes, my codes are from alldata, and might be more up to date for 95-97 models

  16. i prefere denso filters, they are OEM filters for lexus. dont forget to jack the car up, its more convenient this way.

  18. not yet, no pix the body is not in a good condition in 2 weeks afeer puttin the spoiler , new fender, sanding and painting i will make pix, or i might do em on monday to make before and after comparison, engine makes 374 hp now
  19. of course they are different, the left one has a mount attached to it and right one is just a pulley
  20. gs 300, not 400, he might get GS without selling supra. too much work has been done on supra and too much $ spent. only body left stock on that piece of work:)
  21. to get the codes for 1995 lexus ls 400 1. remove the top cover from the engine, it has only 3 screws. 2. locate a plug that is called diagnosis 3. attach scanner to it. 4. scanner will give you 1 or couple of 4 digit codes. 5. gimme the codes, i have a list . so i will let u know what they mean
