how did you situation turn out?

can anyone help me.........

I was driving on the freeway and noticed my temp hand at the line just under the red mark....so, I shut down the car and after the engine had cooled the temp hand had settled out halfway between the first and second marks.......so, the high reading was not actually high (the radiator cap was not hot when i noticed it running hotter than normal) my question, how can i re-adjust the temp hand or is that one of those send it off and have it worked on......my gas guage is also reading about a line off.......is this normal??????????? help

I have a 92 LS 400 with 180000.....regular changes.....want to switch to full synthetic (mobil 1) is that to many miles to switch and do I need to seafoam the engine.....how is the seafoam thing done...pour it in and let run at idle for 30 min or what?

where can I purchase a key blank with the button on it....my key button broke off......

Had them on for a year. Then my son played "crash-dummy" in it. where did you get the bulbs....and do you have part numbers....

I'm still able to make money on the side to gold plate cars and other items. As long as it's metal, I can gold plate it in 24K(not paint). Did my LS years ago and the emblems are still great after being exposed to 4 seasons for 3 years. John Goldplater, you still in the business......

I just replaced my instrument cluster because the tach. gauge had quit working and the needles were blackening out.....my new gauge lights up great but yesterday the low fuel light came on and the gauge was halfway between 1/4 and 1/2 tank, when I filled up it went pass the "F" mark so I am thinking that it is off a little......also, my temp gauge is reading at the 3 mark and it normally read a hair above the second mark, so should i assume it is the cluster or replace the thermostat and/or sensor, is there a way i can check the temp to be sure it is reading correctly.....I can live with the fuel level but the temp. needle is really bothering me........thanks any feedback is appreciated

I know it's late, but do you still have any parts?

\ Jim, my tack stays on 0...I recently installed a new cluster and it blew out the tack gauge again....seems like a short somewhere....has this happen to you before

Hello all Lexus owners.......I have a question about tire sizes.....I am currently running 245/45 R18 on my 92 LS 400, I am thinking of going with 235/40 ZR18........has anyone put this size on a Lexus and how did it ride........what is a common size for 18" wheels......thanks

I want to change the front shocks/struts on my 92 LS 400....could someone please tell me what parts I need to do a complete job (ie, shocks, boots, etc.....)

OUCH!..... another heavy rain and seems as though I solved my headliner leak....but my trunk had water in it.....so the saga continues.....

[ I had the same problem, check your headliner in the car (back seat area) for moisture.....I had water on the headliner and 1 1/2 in water where my spare wheel was......I removed the paneling and THERE IT WAS...my sunroof drain line had come detached for some reason........hooked it back up and put my car through a heavy rainstorm here in Texas and NO LEAK in either place..........so, it can be the sunroof drain, but you would also get water on your headliner..........

Finally got the nerve to pull my headliner down using the tutorial (lexus wanted $235 to repair sunroof leak), once i removed the paneling in the rear behind drivers seat found the plastic tubing disconnected from the sunroof drain........placed this line back on and pulled car outside during heavy Texas rains this weekend and PRESTO.....no leak in headliner or trunk.............saved myself $235........FELLAS......THESE TUTORIALS ARE "OFF DA CHAIN"..............92 ls 400

Cranked up my baby and there was a burning smell (rubber), it lasted on a few seconds and went away......as I drove to the store occassionaly I would smell that burning smell.....so, when I got to the store I raised the hood and everything looked ok, the belt was turning etc........could this be a bad tensioner or an old belt.......thanks in advance......

You add the seafoam to your gas......or oil.......

how did you clean the mass flow sensor, or did you have to take it to a mechanic.....thanks

Wanted to throw my 2 cents in.....my sunroof leaks around the headliner on the rear driver side, water collects in the small light in the upper corner in rear seat behind driver. My trunk also leaks water when it rains....I did pull up the carpet in the trunk that covers the spare tire and pulled back the liner under the lil tool box and found a rubber hose (clear), I blew that line with low pressure and could hear the air blowing in the car around where the water is getting in my head liner.....I need to remove the paneling that holds the head liner on that side to see if the hose has disconnected there....has anyone ever remove the top panel on the driverside........

my horn quit working as well as the air bag light staying on.......will check the cruise control......if that is it, can i still reset it like lexus.com says......

I recently experienced my 92 ls-400 running hot...upon examination I found antifreeze coming from around the sensor on the reservoir. I also had a crack in the corner of the reservoir next to the sensor. I went to add antifreeze and noticed a foamy residue in the reservoir and was wondering how to clean that out or is it possible.......is a radiator flush worth it?....would a crack in the reservoir cause my vehicle to run hot and I also hear alot of bubbling inside the reservoir when I shutoff the engine.........thanks for your input....

I have a 92 ls400 also and i am noticing a small puddle of antifreeze on the floor of my garage....where is the cross over pipe and how do i clean the reservior, mine is very dirty........
